Pretoria, South Africa – 29 April 2025 – Jaguar TCS Racing are set to roar back onto the sun-drenched streets of the Principality this weekend for a highly anticipated double-header at the 2025 Monaco E-Prix — Rounds 6 and 7 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
For the British team, Monaco is more than just another stop on the calendar; it’s a venue steeped in success and sentimental value. Last season, the team etched its name into the Formula E history books with a stunning 1-2 finish – the first ever in the series at the fabled Circuit de Monaco. Mitch Evans clinched his maiden win in Monte Carlo, with teammate Nick Cassidy crossing the line in second, securing a commanding and unforgettable result.
Now, with twice the racing and twice the opportunity to make an impact, Jaguar TCS Racing return to the Principality with eyes firmly fixed on the podium once more.

A Proven Hunting Ground
The 3.3km Circuit de Monaco, with its tight corners, elevation changes, and iconic backdrop, is considered the crown jewel of Formula E’s city-centre circuits. It’s a venue where Mitch Evans has thrived, securing three podiums from five appearances, while Cassidy brings his own silverware pedigree, having taken victory in 2023 while racing for Envision – powered by Jaguar.
“Monaco E-Prix is a track where we’ve seen great success in the past,” said James Barclay, Team Principal of Jaguar TCS Racing. “It feels like a home race for Mitch and Nick, who are both extremely fast around these famous streets. Although we didn’t come away with points in Miami, we took valuable insights from the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 and are ready to apply those learnings in Monaco.”
Momentum and Motivation
Heading into the Monaco weekend, Jaguar TCS Racing sit eighth in the Teams’ Championship with 35 points, while Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy hold 10th and 18th in the Drivers’ Standings, respectively. For a team of Jaguar’s pedigree, the standings may not yet reflect their full potential — but the double-header format presents a unique chance to change that narrative quickly.
Adding to the intrigue is the return of Pit Boost — a new innovation for Season 11 that will be implemented in one of the two races in Monaco. Designed to increase strategic complexity and overtaking opportunities, the system could play to Jaguar’s advantage, given their historic racecraft around this circuit.
Eyes on the Prize
For Mitch Evans, Monaco is more than just another race: “I always look forward to the Monaco E-Prix. It’s one of the best races of the year, and a track where we’ve been really competitive — not least last season. We’re aiming for a positive result once more.”
His teammate, Nick Cassidy, echoed the sentiment but kept focus on the task ahead: “The past couple of seasons in Monaco have provided some incredible memories for me, including my first win here in Season 9 and the team’s 1-2 finish last year. But now, it’s all about execution. The aim is to get the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 in the right window to secure a strong points haul this weekend.”
Looking Ahead
With race start times set for 15:05 CEST (GMT +2) on both Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May, Jaguar TCS Racing will be hoping to channel past glories into present-day performance. In a season that has shown flashes of brilliance but is still waiting for a breakout moment, there is no better stage than Monaco — a circuit synonymous with drama, legacy, and triumph.
Will Jaguar once again tame the tight corners of Monte Carlo? If history is any indicator, the answer could very well be yes.
