Pretoria, South Africa – 23 October 2025 – Jaguar TCS Racing has confirmed that Britain’s Jamie Chadwick and Japan’s Juju Noda will drive for the team in the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E official women’s test, set to take place in Valencia on 31 October. The initiative builds on the success of last year’s inaugural event, showcasing diverse female talent in the GEN3 Evo-spec Formula E cars.
Chadwick, one of the most decorated female racers in history, returns to Jaguar TCS Racing with extensive experience in the I-TYPE 7. Her connection with the team dates back to 2020, when she first participated in the Marrakesh Rookie Test. Since then, Chadwick has driven the I-TYPE 7 in Madrid’s women’s test, Jeddah’s Free Practice session, and Berlin’s Rookie Test during the 2024/25 season.
Over a career spanning 14 years, Chadwick has competed across single-seaters, sportscars, and international championships. She made her single-seater debut in the 2017 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship before dominating the W Series, where she became a triple champion with 11 wins. In 2022, she joined Andretti Autosport as a test driver in Indy NXT and subsequently made history as the first woman in 14 years to win an Indy NXT race, finishing seventh in the 2023 and 2024 championships. This year, Chadwick added sportscar success to her resume, making her Le Mans debut in June and claiming multiple victories in the European Le Mans Series LMP2 class with IDEC Sport.
Joining Chadwick is Japanese rising star Juju Noda, who has already established herself as a trailblazer in international motorsport. Born in Tokyo in 2006, Noda began karting at age three and was testing single-seaters by nine. After making her competitive debut in the 2019 Lucas Oil Winter Race Series, she secured her first win in the 2020 F4 Danish Championship, finishing sixth overall. Noda has competed in the W Series and Euroformula Open, and in 2024 she became the first Japanese woman to race in Super Formula, Japan’s premier single-seater championship, with TGM Grand Prix.

Commenting on her return, Chadwick said:
“It’s fantastic to be returning to Jaguar TCS Racing for the women’s test in Valencia. Having already driven the I-TYPE 7 last season, I’m excited to build on that experience and continue working with the team. Driving in Formula E presents a unique challenge, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.”
Noda added:
“I’m really looking forward to joining Jaguar TCS Racing for the Formula E women’s test. Driving the GEN3 Evo car will be a new experience for me, and I’m excited to learn from the team and push myself in this environment. It’s an honour to contribute to an initiative that supports women in motorsport and helps open doors for talented drivers.”
Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal Ian James commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome Jamie and Juju to the team for the women’s test. This initiative continues to play a vital role in creating meaningful opportunities for female talent in motorsport, and both drivers bring exceptional skill, experience, and ambition to the team.”
The women’s test takes place on Friday, 31 October, in Valencia, Spain, and promises to highlight the next generation of female drivers pushing the boundaries in Formula E.
