If you think the Google “Let it Snow” feature from Google were cool. Check out the Google Gmail powered Send a Santa Christmas Card Application that Google just launched. In our previous articles about the “let it Snow” Google (Easter Egg) we hinted that Google is likely to have something even bigger and better planned. Today we are one of the first news services to report on this! – Google has just launched the “Send a Call from Santa” site.
The Send a Call from Santa site allows you to send a Christmas card from Santa for free to your loved ones! Although it is a small gesture, the card is customized and can mean a lot to the person you address the card to!
We have created a short tutorial on how to use the Send a Santa Free Christmas Card application from Google powered by Gmail.
This short tutorial will help you get started with the Google+ Send a Santa Christmas Card.
“Once you click on Get Started the Google Santa Application will start collecting information to make your Free Santa Clause Christmas card unique. You will be asked to provide your birthday information”.
“In the Next step you will be required to agree to the Terms and Conditions of using the Send a Santa Christmas Card before you can continue using the Santa Christmas Card Application”
“In the next step you need to insert your name, and if you are male or female. You also need to specify the person’s name to which you are sending the message and if they are male or female. This is all part of the customization of your Google Gmail Santa Christmas Card”
“It is important that you complete the following section accurate. This is part of the video and part of the custom Christmas Card that you will be creating using the Send a Santa Christmas Card Application.”
“The different options that you can select from the Send a Call From Santa Christmas Card application will each have a different outcome on the video that you create. The options allows you to create your own Customized Christmas Card unique and personalized to the person you are sending it to!”
“In the final stages of creating your “Send a call from santa” Free Christmas Card from Google you can choose how you would like your Christmas Card to be delivered to your loved one!”
You will see the message on the screen saying “Santa is now ready to create your personalized message. Click the Video Elf or Audio Elf below to preview your creation!”
In the next screen you will be able to preview your Free Santa Christmas Card – “Be sure to watch your video and check it twice! Joanna is only moments away from seeing your personalized message” – This will allow you to view your message before it get’s send to your loved one’s. If you are happy with the message you can send it!
You will be asked in the next step how you would like to share your video. You can share it with email, or you can share it on Google+.

“A window to share your video on Google+ should open on your screen if you choose the Share with Google+ Option. In the window you can post the video to your Google+ Profile. There you can select your privacy options and only share the video with the person that you are sending it to, or you can make it public”
On YouTube the video is only made available to people that have the URL of the YouTube video.
“Now you can go to your Google+ Account and watch the video in your Google+ Profile page. Remember to choose your privacy settings when you post your free Santa Christmas Card to your profile if you do not want everyone to see your Christmas Card”
