Modena, June 9, 2025 — Against the historic backdrop of cobbled streets, Baroque facades, and the enduring pulse of Italian motoring heritage, Maserati took centre stage at the 7th edition of the Motor Valley Fest. As part of the “Year of the Trident” celebrations, the brand paid tribute to its deep-rooted connection with Modena—its spiritual and industrial home—through a series of exclusive experiences that seamlessly blended tradition and innovation.
From June 5th to 8th, Modena became a mecca for automotive enthusiasts, as the Motor Valley Fest transformed the city into a vibrant, open-air celebration of speed, style, and engineering excellence. Amidst the revving of engines and a global crowd of fans, professionals, and tourists, Maserati reaffirmed its place not just in the city’s history, but in its future.
The Beating Heart of Innovation: Viale Ciro Menotti
One of the event’s standout experiences was the rare public opening of Maserati’s storied plant on Viale Ciro Menotti. As the brand’s premium hub for luxury and innovation, the factory offered visitors a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the marque’s contemporary production philosophy—where design, research, and craftsmanship converge.
Inside the plant and adjacent showroom, guests were treated to immersive installations, exclusive promotions, and a refined retail experience that brought Maserati’s vision of modern luxury to life. It was a fitting tribute to a brand that, for over a century, has defined what it means to be “Made in Modena”—and Made in Italy.
Icons Reimagined: GT2 Stradale and GranCabrio
Maserati’s latest creations were on full display in Piazza Roma and at the Motor1 stand, drawing attention and admiration. The new GT2 Stradale, cloaked in a refined Powder Nude livery, made a bold statement on the cobblestones of Piazza Roma—a striking homage to the city that shaped it. Nearby, the fully electric GranCabrio, part of Maserati’s next-generation 800 V architecture, dazzled in a vivid Orange Devil finish, marking the evolution of open-air driving into the electrified era.
Both models, along with the M20 and MC20 Cielo, are products of the Modena plant—a testament to Maserati’s commitment to keeping production local, while leading the charge toward a sustainable, electrified future. Production of the new GranTurismo and GranCabrio is also slated to begin in Modena, cementing the brand’s hometown allegiance.
Voices of Vision: “Motor Valley Top Table”
On Thursday, Teatro Storchi played host to one of the festival’s most compelling discussions: the “Motor Valley Top Table” opening conference. There, Maserati CEO Santo Ficili underscored the city’s enduring strategic value to the brand.
“In this city, one can feel the true essence of the Motor Valley,” Ficili said. “Leading Maserati and bringing the GranTurismo and GranCabrio back to Modena fills me with pride. From this remarkable city, we will write a new chapter in our extraordinary history—founded on sustainability, innovation, and, above all, the customer.”
His words captured the spirit of a brand that honours its heritage while boldly embracing transformation—anchored in the talent, culture, and ingenuity that make Modena a beacon of automotive excellence.

Legacy in Bloom: Celebrating the Classics
While Maserati looked firmly toward the future, it also paused to reflect on its iconic past. In the Ducal Gardens, the Classics Pavilion celebrated the brand’s storied lineage with models like the Maserati Indy America and Mistral coupé 4000. These legends stood as a tribute to generations of design brilliance and mechanical artistry—core to Maserati’s identity as a global ambassador of Italian luxury.
The city streets came alive as well, with the 4th edition of the “Moto & Supercars Motor Valley Fest” procession and the ever-popular “Mini vs Abarth” parade, each event adding colour and character to the weekend’s celebrations.
Thematic Talks: A Dialogue Between Past, Present, and Future
A series of insightful thematic talks at the Complesso San Paolo added intellectual weight to the festivities. Maria Conti, Head of Maserati Corse, explored the future of racing and the role of innovation in motorsport. Giovanni Perosino, Chief Marketing & Communication Officer, delved into the evolving definition of luxury, while Cristiano Bolzoni, Manager of Maserati Classiche, shared deep insights into the brand’s heritage and preservation efforts.
The Trident Turns 100
This year’s Motor Valley Fest also marked a pivotal moment in Maserati’s centenary celebrations—the 100th anniversary of the Trident emblem. First worn by the Tipo 26 in 1926, which famously triumphed in its class at the Targa Florio, the Trident has become a universal symbol of power, elegance, and endurance.
As Maserati approaches another historic milestone—100 years of racing in 2026—the Motor Valley Fest was more than just a showcase. It was a declaration: that Maserati’s bond with Modena is not only unbreakable but vital to the brand’s global identity.
In a city where the past and future meet at every intersection, Maserati stood tall—reminding the world that the journey of the Trident, though steeped in tradition, is only just beginning.
