Modena, 29 September 2025 – The streets and squares of Turin came alive last weekend as the city hosted the second edition of the Turin Motor Show, drawing over 500,000 visitors to witness a celebration of automotive excellence. At the heart of the spectacle, the Italian premiere of the Maserati MCPURA captured attention, offering a showcase of performance, elegance, and Italian craftsmanship.
From 26 to 28 September, Turin’s Piazza Castello, Piazzetta Reale, and the avenues of the Royal Gardens were transformed into a grand open-air stage. International brands unveiled prototypes, concept cars, and supercars, creating a unique dialogue between the city’s architectural heritage and the cutting-edge innovations of the automotive world.
In Piazzetta Reale, Maserati presented the dual personality of its latest masterpiece: the MCPURA coupé and the cabriolet Cielo. Both incarnations exemplify the purest expression of energy and performance, fully embodying the Trident’s ethos and proudly 100% Made in Italy.
The new supercar made a dramatic first impression in the sophisticated Ai Acqua Rainbow finish, a creation of Maserati Fuoriserie. The coupé boasts a matte version of this striking shade, while the MCPURA Cielo shines in glossy form. Rare and meticulously refined pigments create a captivating rainbow effect under sunlight, a visual signature that surprises and delights at every angle.
Just steps away in the Royal Gardens, visitors explored an exclusive selection of Maserati models: the classic Merak, the Ghibli SS, the 3500 GT, and the track-focused MCXtrema. Among them, the MCXtrema drew particular admiration. Cloaked in its iconic “Blu Extrema” livery, this track-only machine is a collector’s dream. Limited to 62 units, the MCXtrema channels the raw power of the Nettuno-derived 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, delivering 740 hp in a pure, unfiltered racing experience. It is a bold testament to Maserati’s mastery of performance, blending technical precision, sculpted beauty, and uncompromising aerodynamics.
The Turin Motor Show also offered a moving tribute to the Maserati community with Saturday’s parade. Cars wound their way from the Royal Palace of Venaria to Piazza San Giovanni, passing the Basilica of Superga. Local clients of Maserati Forza Torino took the wheel of historic and contemporary icons – from the GranTurismo and MC20 to a GranCabrio – accompanied by special guest Cristina Chiabotto. The parade celebrated the brand’s legacy, connecting the city, its architecture, and its automotive heritage in a dynamic showcase of passion and performance.
