In the rarefied winter light of the Dolomites, where the peaks seem carved from crystal and silence carries the weight of history, Maserati has found a stage worthy of its emblem.

As Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games draws the world’s gaze to Italy, the Trident is not merely present in Cortina d’Ampezzo. It is composing an experience. One shaped by elegance, precision and that unmistakable current of Made in Italy excellence that has long defined the Modena marque.

At the centre of this narrative stands Casa Maserati, created within the refined setting of Alajmo Cortina in Località Ronco. Conceived as an immersive salon, the space welcomes media, partners and guests into a world where design, haute cuisine and automotive artistry converse fluently. It is less a hospitality suite and more a curated expression of Italian culture, layered with fine materials, considered details and the quiet confidence of craftsmanship.

On 10 February, against a cinematic Alpine backdrop, the brand inaugurated its Cortina programme with an exclusive Opening Event that brought together leading figures from entertainment, sport and business. Among them were the Bianchet couple, founders of the eponymous Swiss watchmaking house, and acclaimed American actor Jeremy Renner. Just outside, poised like a sculpture in motion, stood the new Grecale Cristallo Special Edition, welcoming guests into the Trident’s winter chapter.

Enhancing the evening was the presence of Roberto Bolle, Étoile of Teatro alla Scala and Maserati’s new Brand Ambassador. His appearance reaffirmed a partnership rooted in shared philosophy. Bolle and Maserati both inhabit the delicate equilibrium between aesthetics and performance, emotion and discipline. In both ballet and engineering, elegance is not decoration but direction. It guides every line, every movement, every decision.

Guests were also welcomed by Massimiliano Alajmo, long-standing Brand Ambassador and culinary virtuoso, who orchestrated a gastronomic experience in harmony with the Trident’s values of authenticity and innovation. The result was a dialogue between flavours and forms, between plated composition and automotive design, where precision met poetry.

That same conversation extended into the world of design through Maserati’s collaboration with Giorgetti. Inside Casa Maserati, the world premiere of the NEREO table football from the Giorgetti Maserati Edition Collection reimagined play as ritual. Every surface, every proportion reflects a relentless pursuit of perfection, transforming a leisure object into a sculptural statement. The partnership, launched in 2025, will continue through presentations at Giorgetti Spiga in Milan and culminate in new unveilings during Milan Design Week in April. In this universe, even a game becomes an exercise in sartorial precision.

Maserati Elevates Cortina with Grecale Cristallo as Milano Cortina 2026 Beckons

Cristiano Fiorio, General Manager of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE and Maserati Chief Marketing Officer, captured the spirit of the moment succinctly. Maserati’s presence in Cortina, he noted, is a natural extension of a vision rooted in tradition yet fluent in contemporary language. At its heart lies personalisation through the Fuoriserie programme, where each vehicle becomes an expression of individuality shaped around the customer’s most personal desires. The global resonance of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games amplifies that exclusivity, projecting Italian pride onto an international stage.

The undisputed protagonist of the evening, however, was the Maserati Grecale Cristallo Special Edition. Created as a Fuoriserie tribute to the spirit of Milano Cortina 2026, for which the brand serves as Automotive Premium Partner, the model made its public debut earlier this year during the Olympic Flame’s passage at the historic Modena plant. In Cortina, it took centre stage.

Its inspiration is drawn from Monte Cristallo, the towering Dolomite peak that lends both name and metaphor. Here, matter and light meet with sculptural clarity. The Grecale Cristallo translates that meeting into form and finish. Central to its identity is Azzurro Aureo, an exclusive Fuoriserie colour certified by the dedicated fender livery. The hue begins with Maserati blue and evolves into a cooler, purer tone, brightened to echo the shimmer of snowfields. A subtle infusion of golden mica introduces a quiet luminosity, recalling the symbolic resonance of Olympic gold while expressing excellence and prestige in a restrained, refined key.

The exterior is further defined by 21 inch CRIO diamond cut alloy wheels and front grille inserts painted in body colour, reinforcing the vehicle’s cohesive aesthetic. Inside, Premium Ghiaccio leather envelops the cabin in a light, Alpine inspired palette that amplifies brightness and purity. Exclusive finishes and Maserati Original Accessories, from self levelling logo wheel centre caps to personalised courtesy lights and branded floor mats, complete a configuration that elevates detail to doctrine.

Available in Modena, Trofeo and Folgore versions, the Grecale Cristallo retains its distinctive character across powertrains, ensuring that performance remains as integral as design.

In Cortina, beneath the watchful geometry of the Dolomites, Maserati has done more than showcase a vehicle. It has staged a statement. A declaration that contemporary Italian luxury lives at the intersection of craft and culture, speed and style, heritage and horizon. And as the road to Milano Cortina 2026 unfolds, the Trident moves forward with the composure of something born to perform on the world’s grandest stage.
