The Commercial Vehicle Show 2026 is set to become the stage for a significant reveal in the pick-up segment, as KGM Motors UK prepares to showcase its next-generation diesel workhorse in the metal for the very first time. Ahead of its official market launch on 1 July, the all-new Musso Rhino arrives not just as a new model, but as a statement of intent from a brand determined to broaden and strengthen its commercial vehicle footprint.
Positioned above the current Musso Saracen in the line-up, the Musso Rhino represents the next evolution of the Musso nameplate, carrying forward its established reputation for durability and real-world utility while introducing a clear uplift in refinement and design sophistication. The familiar toughness remains intact, yet it is now wrapped in sharper, more assertive styling that signals a new design direction for KGM.
This evolution is not simply cosmetic. The Musso Rhino brings a noticeably more premium interior environment, focusing on improved material quality, smarter technology integration and a more driver-focused cabin experience. It is designed to appeal to operators who need the hard-working capability of a traditional diesel pick-up, but no longer want to compromise on comfort or connectivity during long working days.
Under the bonnet, the Musso Rhino continues with KGM’s proven e-XDi 2.2 litre diesel engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a selectable four-wheel drive system as standard. Capability remains a defining strength, with the ability to tow up to 3.5 tonnes and carry payloads exceeding 1,000 kilograms, ensuring it remains firmly competitive in the heavy-duty pick-up segment.
Confidence on and off the road is further supported by an expanded suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control and Intelligent Speed Warning. A 3D around-view monitoring system enhances visibility in tight working environments, while off-road hardware such as a limited-slip differential and Clear Sight Ground View technology reinforces its ability to handle challenging terrain with ease and precision.
The Musso Rhino also plays a key role in a broader product strategy that is quickly reshaping KGM’s presence in the commercial space. Alongside it, visitors at stand 5C30 in Hall 5 will also see the all-new Musso EV, a fully electric pick-up that blends SUV-like refinement with zero-emission capability and qualifies for the full £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant. The EV variant further strengthens KGM’s dual-path approach, offering customers both traditional diesel robustness and forward-looking electrification in one coherent line-up.
Completing the display will be the award-winning Musso Saracen and the Rexton Commercial Vehicle, underlining the depth of KGM’s current offering. Together, they illustrate a brand that is no longer a peripheral player in the pick-up segment, but one building a comprehensive and credible commercial ecosystem.
Speaking ahead of the show, Kevin Griffin, Managing Director at KGM Motors UK, highlighted the importance of the moment, noting that the Musso Rhino represents a significant step forward for operators who have long valued the Musso name for its dependability, while now gaining a new level of refinement, design and technology.
With its debut at the NEC Birmingham from 21 to 23 April 2026, the Musso Rhino arrives as more than just an update. It signals a clear expansion of ambition, positioning KGM to compete with a broader and more modern interpretation of what a pick-up can be in a rapidly evolving commercial landscape.
