KGM Motors UK, formerly known as SsangYong, has announced football legend Lee Trundle as its newest brand ambassador, in partnership with dealer partner Celtic Automotive. The former Swansea City, Bristol City, and Leeds United striker will join a growing roster of personalities dedicated to bringing the KGM brand to life through events, dealer engagement, and content that connects real people to the vehicles.
Trundle, celebrated for his audacious flair, creativity, and ability to entertain crowds as much as score goals, first captured the public’s imagination in non-league football before becoming a club icon at Swansea City. Across two spells, he netted 92 goals in 199 appearances and remains a revered figure among the club’s supporters.
Even at 49, Trundle continues to lace up his boots for Welsh third-tier side Pure Swansea FC, demonstrating the passion and longevity that have defined his career. Now, with his latest “transfer” to KGM UK, he will bring that same energy to the automotive world, supporting the brand across the UK through dealer events, content creation, and customer engagement initiatives.
