The 2025 programme spans a diverse collection of local landmarks and community hubs. Festivities kicked off at the Longbridge “Christmas Lights Switch On” event on Saturday, 15 November, where Santa’s arrival marked the official start of the local holiday calendar. From there, the tour continues through All Saints Square, Moseley, Kings Norton, Longbridge Retail Park, Moseley Rugby Club, Sainsbury’s Maypole and several neighbouring areas throughout November and December. At each appearance, the Lions will be on hand to collect donations that support grassroots initiatives and charitable organisations across Birmingham—an effort that has grown in reach and impact year after year.
