Modena, 12 September 2025 – With the glistening waters of Lake Maggiore as a backdrop and the majestic peaks of Mottarone rising in the distance, Maserati once again proved why it remains one of the most evocative names in motoring. Last Wednesday, the Trident marque took centre stage at the second edition of the “TUTTO BENE Hillclimb,” an exclusive celebration of culture, design and driving passion that redefines what a hillclimb can be.
A Celebration of Slow, Conscious Driving
Far removed from the stopwatch-driven intensity of traditional motorsport, the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb is built around the captivating mantra: “slow down to go fast.” There are no time trials or furious dashes to the summit—only the pure, unhurried pleasure of driving. Starting from the enchanting shores of Lake Maggiore, participants embarked on a breathtaking seven-kilometre journey along the historic Strada Borromea, a private road that winds from Gignese to the summit of Mottarone in Italy’s Novara province.
Around 80 cars—an inspired mix of contemporary marvels and timeless classics—answered the invitation. True to the event’s tongue-in-cheek motto, “only cool cars allowed,” the parade celebrated motoring not as competition, but as a shared cultural experience. Against this picture-perfect alpine setting, Maserati captivated onlookers with a car that personifies the marriage of high art and high performance: the new GT2 Stradale.

The GT2 Stradale: Motorsport Spirit Meets Road Elegance
Bathed in a striking Giallo Genio yellow finish and boasting a black-and-grey interior, the GT2 Stradale commanded attention with the same presence it exudes on the racetrack. Beneath its sculpted bodywork lies Maserati’s celebrated 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno engine, delivering a formidable 640 hp (471 kW). The result is electrifying: 0–100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed exceeding 320 km/h.
Yet the GT2 Stradale is more than an exercise in raw power. Weighing 60 kg less than the MC20, it stands as the most powerful road-legal Maserati with a combustion engine ever built. Derived directly from the GT2 race car that marked Maserati’s triumphant return to closed-wheel competition, the Stradale merges track-honed dynamics with the comfort and refinement demanded of a grand tourer. It embodies the very essence of the Maserati philosophy: racing DNA translated into an everyday driving masterpiece.
Tradition, Innovation and Italian Excellence
Conceived by the BorromeoDeSilva design studio in collaboration with Race Service, the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb is more than an automotive gathering—it is a stage for Italian artistry. Maserati’s participation underscored its role as a key player in contemporary car culture, blending heritage and innovation in a setting where design, craftsmanship and natural beauty converge.
From the soulful roar of the Nettuno engine echoing off alpine cliffs to the shimmering reflections of Giallo Genio paint against Lake Maggiore’s waters, the GT2 Stradale captured the spirit of the event in every detail. Maserati has once again demonstrated its ability to bring the emotions and performance of the racetrack to the open road, reaffirming its place as an icon of Italian luxury and engineering brilliance.
With the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb, Maserati proved that true speed isn’t always measured in seconds. Sometimes, it’s the deliberate embrace of the journey—and the fusion of culture, landscape and mechanical artistry—that leaves the most lasting impression.
