Maranello, March 29, 2026 – The 2026 Italy Half Marathon – Enzo Ferrari Memorial concluded this past weekend, leaving an indelible mark on runners, spectators, and the Motor Valley community. For the second consecutive year, Ferrari opened its most iconic locations, including the central avenue of its company campus, the Fiorano Track, and the new Ferrari e-Vortex circuit, giving participants an unparalleled racing experience that blends sport, automotive heritage, and local culture.
The event, organized by RCS Sports & Events in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region and local authorities, welcomed 15,000 registered participants, 32% of whom came from 88 countries worldwide. The starting line at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello led runners through a route intertwining industrial history and regional identity, before reaching the finish line in Modena’s Piazza Roma.
Kenyan athletes Dennis Kipruto and Regina Wambui Ndugu claimed victory in the half marathon, while the first Italians across the line were Thomas D’Este and Sara Bottarelli. In the FISPES category, Rita Cuccuru repeated her success from 2025, and Giuseppe Gabriele Terzano finished first among the men. Beyond the main race, the event offered a non-competitive 10 km and a 5 km Family Run, attracting 7,000 additional participants and reinforcing the festival-like atmosphere.
Ferrari continued its tradition of crafting the event’s medals in its own facilities. Each medal is shaped from recycled aluminium using advanced 5-axis machinery, refined by skilled Maranello technicians, and polished with manual ceramic sandblasting. Personalized laser engraving and a hand-covered upcycled leather case, the same leather used in Ferrari interiors, complete these unique symbols of achievement.
The Italy Half Marathon also aims to leave a lasting legacy for the region. Registration fees and partner contributions, net of organizational costs, are directed toward the development and renovation of sports and school facilities along the route, strengthening the connection between sport, education, and the local community.
The 2026 Italy Half Marathon – Enzo Ferrari Memorial reaffirms its status not only as a premier international sporting event but also as a celebration of community, culture, and innovation in the heart of Motor Valley.
