Amalfi, 01 July 2025 – Ferrari has unveiled the Amalfi, a 2+ coupé that transcends the boundaries of traditional grand touring. As the spiritual successor to the Ferrari Roma, the Amalfi is more than a replacement — it’s a bold evolution. With its front-mid-mounted twin-turbo V8, sculpted elegance, and cutting-edge technology, the Amalfi is a striking embodiment of Ferrari’s new era: a harmonious union of performance and everyday versatility.
A New Chapter in Gran Turismo
Named after the iconic Italian coastline, the Ferrari Amalfi captures the effortless charm and drama of its namesake. This new model reshapes Ferrari’s 2+ coupé segment, marrying track-derived engineering with sophisticated design and comfort. It is a car for drivers who seek the adrenaline of Ferrari performance without compromising on refinement or practicality.
Underneath its long sculpted bonnet lies the latest evolution of the F154-family 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8, delivering a ferocious 640 cv at 7,500 rpm. This powerhouse is mated to the now-familiar eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, ensuring seamless, lightning-fast shifts. With 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and 0–200 km/h in 9.0 seconds, the Amalfi’s performance figures are as uncompromising as its character.
Design: Elegance, Carved in Motion
The exterior of the Amalfi is a masterclass in minimalist sculpture. Ferrari’s Styling Centre, led by Flavio Manzoni, has crafted a silhouette that is both sleek and assertive. A monolithic speedform defines the body, with sharp lines and carefully modelled volumes that highlight its athletic stance.
At the front, the Amalfi breaks from tradition. A floating body-coloured wing replaces the conventional grille, sitting above a darkened band that subtly houses sensors and headlights. The effect is both futuristic and clean, setting a new tone for Ferrari’s road-going design language. The rear features an active spoiler seamlessly integrated into the tail, a wide diffuser, and hidden taillights within technical cuts — cues that balance visual drama with aerodynamic function.
Launched in a vibrant Verde Costiera, the car’s sculptural form evokes the ever-changing tones of the Amalfi coast, reinforcing the connection between Ferrari and Italy’s most picturesque roads.

A Cockpit of Contemporary Luxury
Inside, the dual-cockpit layout cocoons both driver and passenger in a shared yet personal space. A sweeping dashboard and suspended central tunnel — milled from anodized aluminium — fuse form and function. Contrasting stitching, carbon fibre elements, and finely crafted aluminium accents deliver a rich tactile experience.
Technology is integrated seamlessly. The driver faces a 15.6” digital instrument cluster, while a 10.25” central touchscreen provides access to climate control, infotainment, and settings. An 8.8” passenger display brings the co-driver into the action, showing performance data, G-forces, and more.
Notably, Ferrari returns to physical buttons on the steering wheel, including the iconic red aluminium start button. The tactile layout ensures intuitive interaction even at speed, reaffirming Ferrari’s driver-first philosophy.
Optional massaging comfort seats, available in three sizes, are equipped with ventilation and ten air chambers, transforming long drives into an indulgent experience. For audiophiles, the available Burmester® Premium Audio System offers 14 speakers and 1,200 watts of crystal-clear, high-fidelity sound.
Aerodynamics: Beauty With Purpose
The Amalfi’s design is underpinned by Ferrari’s most advanced aerodynamic development to date in the 2+ coupé segment. Every curve and cut serves a functional purpose.
Vortex generators, air ducts, and underbody fairings optimize drag and cooling. At speed, the rear active wing adjusts automatically between three positions — Low Drag (LD), Medium Downforce (MD), and High Downforce (HD) — offering up to 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. The integration is seamless, ensuring aerodynamic performance without disrupting the car’s elegant silhouette.
Up front, split radiators manage cooling for both the engine and turbo system, while a central bypass duct reduces front-end pressure build-up. These features ensure stability and performance under all conditions, from city streets to high-speed highways.
Dynamics: Precision, Reimagined
Driving the Ferrari Amalfi is an exercise in balance and control. At its core is brake-by-wire technology, paired with Ferrari’s ABS Evo controller and the latest Side Slip Control 6.1 system. Together, they offer precise braking modulation, improved stability, and dynamic grip estimation using EPS (Electric Power Steering).
Whether carving mountain roads or navigating urban centres, the Amalfi adjusts with precision. The rear active spoiler, combined with recalibrated steering and torque vectoring, enhances agility and response. New safety technologies, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, and Surround View Camera, blend performance with peace of mind.
A Powertrain of Progressive Performance
The Amalfi’s engine is more than powerful — it’s art. Drawing from Ferrari’s most decorated V8 lineage, this version features advanced turbo management, lightweight camshafts, and cylinder-specific pressure sensors. The result is a flat, progressive torque curve and an exhaust note that is unmistakably Ferrari — thanks to a proportionally controlled bypass valve, flat-plane crankshaft, and ceramic matrix catalyst.
Every aspect has been refined: new low-viscosity oil improves warm-up efficiency; compact, low-inertia turbines enhance throttle response; and the dry-sump gearbox layout ensures crisp engagement, even in stop-start urban traffic.
Grand Touring Meets Everyday Versatility
The Ferrari Amalfi is built for more than spirited weekend drives. Its 2+ configuration, increased cargo space, and rear-seat usability make it uniquely versatile in the sports car world. The optional front lifter system, operable up to 35 km/h, raises the car by 40 mm, making it well-suited for navigating speed bumps and steep driveways.
Even its 20” wheels and Pirelli or Bridgestone-developed tyres were selected to maintain a balance between comfort and performance, ensuring long-distance journeys are both engaging and relaxing.
Excellence, Guaranteed
Like all Ferrari models, the Amalfi is backed by the 7-Year Genuine Maintenance Programme — a testament to the brand’s commitment to long-term quality and client satisfaction. Covering all regular maintenance globally, the programme ensures every Amalfi delivers its peak performance year after year, kilometre after kilometre.
Ferrari at Its Most Complete
The Ferrari Amalfi is not just a new model — it is a refined vision of what a grand touring Ferrari can be. With its blend of high-octane performance, advanced technology, and day-to-day usability, it speaks to a new generation of Ferrari drivers: those who demand emotion without compromise.
Elegant, exhilarating, and undeniably Ferrari — the Amalfi sets a new benchmark for the GT class.
