Amalfi, 1 July 2025 – A new chapter begins in Maranello’s illustrious legacy with the unveiling of the Ferrari Amalfi – a bold, front-mid-engined 2+ coupé that reimagines the Grand Tourer for a new generation. Succeeding the widely admired Ferrari Roma, the Amalfi merges sculptural sophistication with visceral V8 performance, offering a driving experience that is as thrilling as it is refined.

This is not just a new model. It is a manifesto: a redefinition of sportiness, elegance, and everyday usability wrapped into one meticulously crafted machine.

Design: Sculpted to Stir the Soul

Named after the iconic Italian coastline that has long symbolised Mediterranean luxury, the Ferrari Amalfi blends timeless proportions with contemporary design language. The exterior is a masterclass in minimalism – its clean surfaces and flowing lines forming a monolithic silhouette that speaks of speed and serenity in equal measure.

At the front, a floating body-coloured wing over a darkened recess replaces the traditional grille, concealing the latest driver-assist sensors while allowing the long, muscular bonnet to dominate the view. Carbon fibre details and forged wheels lend a purposeful edge, while the integrated rear spoiler and dramatic diffuser enhance aerodynamic performance without compromising aesthetics. The launch hue, Verde Costiera, draws inspiration from the sea-tinted cliffs of Amalfi, casting light and shadow over every elegant curve.

Interior: Dual-Cockpit Comfort Meets High-Tech Theatre

Inside, the Amalfi envelops driver and passenger alike in a cocoon of tactile luxury and intuitive technology. The dual-cockpit layout, first introduced in the Roma, has been reimagined to heighten both the visual and emotional connection between occupants and machine. Anodised aluminium, perforated metals, contrasting stitching, and carbon fibre interplay with high-end leathers in a space that feels modern, focused, and luxurious.

A monolithic dashboard fuses the digital instrument cluster and air vents into one sculpted form. The central tunnel – milled from solid aluminium – houses essentials like the iconic gated gear selector and wireless charging pad. Optional massage seats with 10 air chambers and ventilation ensure long-distance comfort, while the optional Burmester® 14-speaker, 1,200-watt premium audio system elevates the auditory experience to rival the Amalfi’s own mechanical symphony.

Powertrain: A V8 Born for the Open Road

At the heart of the Amalfi lies an evolved version of Ferrari’s award-winning 3855cc twin-turbo V8, now delivering 640 cv at 7,500 rpm and a spine-tingling redline of 7,600 rpm. Derived from the F154 family, this engine benefits from track-honed turbocharger calibrations and lightweight internal components, including new camshafts and a redesigned block.

The result is blistering acceleration: 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and 0–200 km/h in 9.0 seconds. But beyond the numbers lies a sense of immediacy – a connection between throttle and response that is fine-tuned by a flat-plane crankshaft, low-inertia twin-scroll turbines, and advanced ECU mapping. Paired with Ferrari’s renowned 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, shifts are delivered with precision, smoothness, and a sense of theatre.

Meanwhile, a new sound management system – complete with ceramic matrix catalysts and proportionally controlled bypass valves – ensures that every drive is scored with Ferrari’s unmistakable acoustic signature.

Driving Dynamics: Engineered for Every Road

Performance without control is meaningless. That’s why the Amalfi integrates Ferrari’s latest dynamic systems, starting with brake-by-wire technology and the ABS Evo controller, providing confident stopping power and precise modulation across all surfaces. This is supported by Side Slip Control 6.1, the orchestration layer behind steering, torque, and vertical motion control, ensuring sublime balance whether you’re winding through coastal passes or navigating city streets.

The active rear spoiler responds seamlessly to changes in speed and direction, enhancing downforce by up to 110 kg at 250 km/h in High Downforce mode – yet tucking away for sleek cruising in Low Drag configuration. Grip estimation via electric power steering improves traction feedback, and the recalibrated steering rack offers sharper turn-in without sacrificing comfort.

Technology & Connectivity: A New Standard of Intuitive Control

The Amalfi’s newly developed Human-Machine Interface (HMI) blends digital innovation with tactile tradition. The return of physical buttons – including the iconic aluminium start button – makes interaction natural, even during spirited driving. The new steering wheel places everything within reach, from ADAS functions to volume dials.

Three displays orchestrate the cabin’s digital experience:

  • A 15.6” digital instrument cluster
  • A 10.25” central touchscreen for infotainment, climate, and vehicle settings
  • An 8.8” passenger display, offering co-pilot engagement with performance metrics

Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® come standard, alongside MyFerrari Connect for remote monitoring and control.

Aerodynamics: Beauty with Purpose

Form and function converge in the Amalfi’s aerodynamic philosophy. CFD modelling, wind tunnel testing, and real-world validation have yielded a body that slices through air while generating meaningful downforce. Vortex generators beneath the front splitter, bypass ducts above the headlights, and a new underbody architecture optimise cooling and stability.

At the rear, the three-stage active wing shifts between efficiency and performance modes based on acceleration, braking, and steering inputs – aided by a high-mounted nolder for air recompression. The result? Greater confidence at speed, without compromising elegance at a standstill.

Ferrari Amalfi The Elegant Evolution Of The Grand Tourer

Tyres and Chassis: Balanced for Road and Refinement

The 20” wheels strike a harmony between aesthetics and ride quality, while the chosen 245/35 R20 front and 285/35 R20 rear tyres ensure confident grip in all conditions. Ferrari worked closely with Pirelli and Bridgestone to fine-tune rubber compounds and profiles, optimising performance, responsiveness, and comfort in equal measure.

Ownership: Ferrari’s Signature Aftercare

As with all new Ferraris, the Amalfi is supported by the brand’s 7-Year Genuine Maintenance Programme, covering scheduled services and parts for the first seven years. Performed by factory-trained technicians with Ferrari’s most advanced diagnostic equipment, this programme ensures peace of mind and performance preservation – whether bought new or as a certified pre-owned model.

A Grand Tourer Without Compromise

The Ferrari Amalfi is more than the sum of its specs. It’s a car that blurs boundaries: between luxury and performance, style and substance, daily drive and dream machine. With its sculptural elegance, advanced onboard technology, and heart-pounding V8 power, it brings the Ferrari spirit to every road – whether coastal, winding, or urban.

This is the Grand Tourer, evolved.
This is the Ferrari Amalfi.
