In a groundbreaking initiative, the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) has launched a comprehensive survey aiming to delve into the driving experiences of women globally. Spearheaded by Sabina Kvášová, a WWCOTY juror from the Czech Republic and the editor-in-chief of the online magazine Zena v aute.cz, the survey seeks to uncover the nuances of women’s behavior and feelings while driving.

Survey Focus and Goals
Launched in April 2024, the project titled “How Women Drivers Feel Behind the Wheel” is designed to gather detailed insights into the driving behaviors of women across various countries, with a particular focus on their perceptions of aggression on the roads. “Understanding the actual experiences of women drivers is crucial,” states Marta Garcia, Executive President of WWCOTY. “This research is vital for identifying often overlooked situations and enhancing road safety tailored to women’s needs.”
Participation and Methodology
The survey is hosted by Zena v aute.cz, where Sabina Kvášová not only leads as the editor-in-chief but also contributes her expertise as a distinguished member of the WWCOTY jury. Participants are encouraged to share their personal experiences and thoughts on road safety, their fears, and their behavior in various driving situations.
Interested individuals can participate in the survey until the end of May 2024 by accessing it through the following link or scanning the provided QR code.

Comparative Analysis and Publication of Results
“Our goal is to compare how women’s driving experiences vary internationally,” explains Kvášová. Leveraging its connection with the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year association, the survey aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the results from different countries.
The findings of the survey will be globally published on June 24th, in celebration of International Women Drivers’ Day (#IWDD), contributing significantly to the discourse on women’s automotive experiences worldwide.
