Ayça Çizer, Beatriz Nuñez, Tanya Gazdik and Sabrina Parant, all experienced motoring journalists, will assist the leadership in the voting process for the Women’s World Car of the Year 2024 awards.
The Women’s World Car of the Year (WWCOTY), the world’s only automotive jury made up entirely of women motoring journalists, has chosen the members of the 2024 voting committee. Ayça Çizer from Türkiye, Beatriz Núñez from Costa Rica, Sabrina Parant from Belgium and Tanya Gazdik from the USA will assist the group’s leaders in all important decisions.
Among the committee’s tasks are the approval of the voting system, the categories into which the awards will be divided, the development of the candidate models and brand relations. “I am particularly proud of the four journalists on the 2024 committee,” says Marta Garcia, executive president of the Women’s World Car of the Year. “Their experience and in-depth knowledge of the industry will ensure that the voting process is once again conducted with the utmost rigor and independence.
Ayça Çizer has worked in the automotive world for more than 10 years. She currently produces automotive-related content on digital channels. Ayça’nın Arabaları, the global platform she manages, is followed by tens of thousands of people.
Beatriz Núñez started her professional career as an automotive journalist in 2005. For the last 15 years she has worked for Puro Motor, the most important media group in Costa Rica related to the automotive industry and motorsports.
Sabrina Parant started her journey in the automotive sector in 2002, working within a Volvo dealership where she held various roles before eventually becoming its manager. Driven by her passion for both the sector and communication, she channeled her expertise into launching the Ladies Drive portal in 2011, aiming to empower women in the automotive realm. She also serves as the Social Media Manager for WWCOTY.
Tanya Gazdik currently writes about automotive marketing for MediaPost where she programs and leads its conferences at the New York and Los Angeles auto shows. She also freelances for WardsAuto and A Girls Guide To Cars. Her stories are followed by senior industry executives, agencies and suppliers from all over the world.
