New site to open in autumn 2026, creating 40 new jobs and strengthening support for Scottish operators

Ciceley Commercials Ltd, one of the UK’s most respected names in commercial vehicle sales and service, has announced plans for a brand-new Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus dealership at Eurocentral, Scotland — marking the family-run company’s first expansion into the region.

The £8 million investment will deliver a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility designed to meet the evolving needs of modern truck and bus operators. Construction is now approved to begin, with a temporary workshop due to open mid-2026 to provide essential servicing and maintenance during the build phase. The main dealership is scheduled for completion in autumn 2026.

A New Home for Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus Support in Scotland

Located on a 4.75-acre plot at Eurocentral, one of Scotland’s premier logistics and distribution hubs, the new Ciceley Commercials dealership will feature:

  • 12 work bays
  • An Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) lane
  • Full service, parts, and sales facilities for Mercedes-Benz trucks
  • Service and parts facilities for Mercedes-Benz buses
  • Approximately 40 new jobs for local people

The development underscores Ciceley’s continued commitment to its customers and its long-standing partnership with Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Buses, providing a vital new support hub for operators across central Scotland.

Built on Shared Values

Ciceley Commercials has appointed Clark Contracts as the main contractor for the project. A well-established Scottish construction company with more than 45 years of experience, Clark Contracts shares Ciceley’s values of quality, sustainability, and people development.

We’re delighted to have been appointed to deliver this project for Ciceley Commercials,” said Michael Scanlan, Director at Clark Contracts. “We look forward to collaborating with our new client and the wider design team as work gets underway on site.”

Both businesses place people at the heart of their operations — Clark Contracts’ award-winning apprenticeship and academy programmes closely mirror Ciceley’s own “grow your own” approach to talent development.

A Legacy of Family and Service

We’re thrilled to be expanding our support network into Scotland,” said Andy Heys, Dealer Principal at Ciceley Commercials Ltd. “Working closely with Mercedes-Benz, we’ve secured the ideal location and designed a facility that truly reflects the needs of Scottish truck operators.”

Heys added:

“This marks an exciting new chapter for Ciceley, but while we grow, we remain true to our roots and proud of our family business culture. Our story began in the early 1970s when Brian Morgan opened a fruit and veg stall in Blackburn. When he started maintaining his own delivery truck, word spread — and soon he was helping others too. From that, a passion for commercial vehicles was born, and Ciceley became one of the very first Mercedes-Benz franchise dealers in the UK.”

Now in his 90s, Brian Morgan remains actively involved in the business alongside his son Russell Morgan, Ciceley’s Chairman, and grandsons Adam and Sam, who play key roles in daily operations.

“That sense of family, care, and dedication is what drives us forward,” Heys said, “and it will continue to shape everything we do in Scotland and beyond.”

A Major Step for Daimler Truck UK

The investment has been warmly welcomed by Daimler Truck UK, which sees the new site as a key milestone in strengthening the Mercedes-Benz support network across Scotland.

We are delighted to be working in close partnership with Ciceley Commercials on this important development,” said Leonhard Niemann, Head of Dealer Network Development at Daimler Truck UK. “Ciceley’s reputation for customer dedication and operational excellence makes them the ideal partner to support our customers in Scotland.”

Stuart Jeggo, Sales and Marketing Director at Daimler Truck UK, added:

“Expanding Ciceley Commercials into Scotland presents an excellent opportunity to better serve our customers. The new site will provide a top-tier Sales offering to complement the outstanding Aftersales services that Ciceley has built its name on.”

Continuing a Tradition of Excellence

Ciceley Commercials’ track record speaks for itself. The business has been recognised as Mercedes-Benz Truck Service Dealer of the Year and Truck Sales Team of the Year, accolades that highlight its focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Heys concluded:

“As a family-run business, we see this new dealership as more than just a facility — it’s an opportunity to serve new communities while delivering the quality and care our customers have come to expect. We look forward to welcoming operators, both longstanding and new, to our Eurocentral site.”
