The 2024 Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l’Auto) buzzed with excitement as Stellantis, one of the world’s largest automotive groups, revealed a bold new chapter in its commitment to clean, safe, and affordable mobility. With Citroën, Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, and Leapmotor International taking center stage, the event showcased an impressive range of new battery electric vehicles (BEVs), signaling Stellantis’ drive to accelerate toward a sustainable future.
Electrification Takes the Spotlight
Carlos Tavares, Stellantis CEO, emphasized the company’s dedication to environmentally friendly vehicles that don’t compromise on performance, style, or customer satisfaction. “We embrace the challenges ahead of us and recognize the deep responsibility we have to our customers around the world, to France, and to providing clean, safe, and affordable mobility,” Tavares stated during the event.
With a portfolio of 12 BEVs currently produced in France, supported by five assembly and seven component plants, Stellantis is proving its commitment to reducing carbon emissions. These efforts align with the ambitious goals set out in its Dare Forward 2030 strategy, aiming for a 50% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030 and a complete transition to carbon net-zero by 2038.

This marks Alfa Romeo’s continued commitment to electrified performance, complemented by the launch of the Elettrica, available in two power variants: a 156-hp model and the 280-hp VELOCE. These additions make Alfa Romeo’s offering one of the most comprehensive in its history, appealing to customers who demand both speed and sustainability.
The event also featured the premiere of the 2025 Tonale, further underlining Alfa Romeo’s ambition to lead the charge in the electrified sports car segment.

Leapmotor’s European Debut
