On May 1st, 2024, in the storied precincts of Bicester Heritage, UK, The Little Car Company rolled out the red carpet for a distinguished visit by HRH Prince Michael of Kent and an esteemed ensemble of guests. This notable gathering included Fritz Burkard, owner of the prestigious Pearl Collection, who along with other VIPs, was treated to an in-depth tour of the company’s headquarters.
The visit commenced with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into The Little Car Company’s studios, where the guests observed the meticulous craftsmanship and advanced engineering invested into each scaled, electric vehicle. From the skilled technicians who assemble these bespoke models to the engineers who design them, the visitors gained a comprehensive insight into the creation process. They also met with the company’s placement students, gaining a perspective on how theoretical studies are translated into practical experience.

The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the test drive session on the Bicester Heritage test track, where iconic models like the Ferrari Testa Rossa J, Aston Martin DB5 Junior, Bugatti Baby II, and the Tamiya Wild One Max were driven, offering a hands-on experience of these miniature marvels.
Furthermore, the visit extended to an introduction to neighboring businesses within the Bicester Heritage site, a hub for over 50 British automotive specialists. This segment not only showcased the rich automotive history and the growth trajectory of the Bicester Heritage but also highlighted the innovative work being done by entities like Motorsport UK, HERO ERA, and McLaren Extreme E among others.
