The event was inaugurated by Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, Alderman James Vos, who highlighted the marine manufacturing sector’s astounding growth, boasting an annual increase of 22%. “We’re riding the wave of growth!” Vos declared, revealing that the industry has surged in value from R3.2 billion to an impressive R4.9 billion.
