Next weekend, the Goodwood Motor Circuit is gearing up to welcome enthusiasts to the much-anticipated 81st Members’ Meeting, an event presented by Audrain Motorsport that promises a packed agenda of high-speed races and memorable demonstrations.
Weekend of Thrills: Attendees can look forward to 13 electrifying races featuring an impressive array of vehicles, from vintage tin-tops and GT cars to motorcycles and high-speed Formula 3 and Formula 1 racers. The event is set to showcase the sheer diversity and evolution of motorsport machinery.
Eco-Friendly Racing: In a pioneering move towards environmental sustainability, the event will introduce mandatory use of sustainable fuels in two key races: the Ken Miles Cup and the Gordon Spice Trophy. This initiative underlines a broader commitment to eco-conscious racing, setting the stage for the upcoming Goodwood Revival to become a landmark event by exclusively using sustainable fuel for its historic races.
Inaugural Sidecar Shoot-Out: For the first time at Goodwood, eight cutting-edge racing sidecars will take to the circuit, offering a unique spectacle of teamwork and agility. This new addition will feature qualifying rounds, head-to-head duels, and a final shoot-out, promising high-octane entertainment for spectators.
Can-Am Roars Again: A special Can-Am celebration will reminisce the golden era of 1966 to 1974, bringing together legendary racing machines from McLaren, Shadow, and Porsche. Touted as the circuit’s loudest demonstration yet, it will be a feast for the senses for motorsport aficionados.

Tribute to Niki Lauda: The event will also pay homage to the late Niki Lauda, three-time Formula 1 World Champion, with a special demonstration featuring his 1985 Dutch Grand Prix-winning McLaren MP4/2B. This tribute aims to celebrate the legacy of one of the sport’s most revered figures.
Jamie Chadwick’s Debut: The meeting will mark the Goodwood racing debut of Jamie Chadwick, a versatile talent with accolades in Indy NXT and the W Series. Chadwick will compete in the Ken Miles Cup and the Gordon Spice Trophy, driving a Ford Mustang.
Leadership on the Line: The Members’ Meeting will introduce new House Captains, including World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx, nine-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen, three-time British Touring Car Champion Gordon Shedden, and IndyCar Champion Dario Franchitti. Each is eager to lead their house to victory in the quest for the House Shield.
As the 81st Members’ Meeting at Goodwood prepares to open its doors, it stands as a testament to the enduring appeal and evolving landscape of motorsport, where tradition meets innovation in a celebration of speed, sustainability, and the enduring spirit of competition.
