International Aston Martin specialist Nicholas Mee & Company has introduced an extraordinary opportunity to the market: a pair of the rarest Aston Martins ever produced, now available for £3,750,000. The DBZ Centenary Collection, launched in 2019, was exclusively sold as a set of two cars for £6.1 million plus local taxes, with only 19 pairs ever made. This collection celebrates the century-long collaboration between Aston Martin and the renowned Milanese coachbuilder Zagato, showcasing their illustrious past and innovative present.
The Centenary Collection pairs a classic DB4 GT Zagato Continuation model with a modern DBS GT Zagato, offering collectors a unique chance to own a piece of automotive history. Only 19 of the stunning DB4 GT Zagato models were originally built in the 1960s, with most now residing in private collections and rarely available for purchase.
The DB4 GT Zagato Continuation models allowed collectors to acquire one of these magnificent machines directly from the factory, constructed to the original 1960s specifications but enhanced with modern engineering expertise. Along with this acquisition came the DBS GT Zagato, a vehicle available solely through this collection, making it one of the rarest Aston Martins ever built.
Nicholas Mee & Company is now proud to offer a pair of these exceptional cars for sale. Both vehicles are finished in the historic Aston Martin color Caribbean Pearl with Dark Blue hides and remain in ‘as delivered’ condition, showcasing only delivery mileage. This marks the first time the collection has been available on the open market, providing a significant saving compared to its original launch price.
Nicholas Mee, the founder of Nicholas Mee & Co., remarked: “In my 40-plus years of dealing with Aston Martin cars, I have never seen the demand for Zagato variants wane. They remain irresistible, beautifully crafted, timeless in design, and incredibly rare, always at the top of a collector’s wish list. The DBZ Centenary Collection offers a pairing that is unlikely to be replicated by Aston Martin as they move away from Continuation models. This is a unique opportunity to acquire both an iconic and a future classic from one of the automotive industry’s most enduring and successful partnerships.”

The DB4 GT Zagato Continuation
Esteemed by classic car collectors and automotive enthusiasts as one of the most beautiful Aston Martins ever created, only 19 examples were built in the early 1960s with international motorsport ambitions. The model offered the ultimate performance available in 1960 and competed in events such as the Le Mans 24-hour race. Original examples have achieved an ‘unobtainable’ status in collector circles, with values ranging from £8 to £10+ million, depending on the car’s history.
Hand-built to the highest quality, the 2019 DB4 GT Zagato Continuation models were crafted by Aston Martin’s Heritage center in Newport Pagnell. These cars were built to the original 1960s configuration, combining traditional engineering and hand-building skills with modern advancements, resulting in precise modern tolerances. The lightweight aluminum coachwork, steel chassis, and mechanical components were all crafted with the utmost attention to detail, mirroring the original 1960s models. Production was strictly limited to 19 cars.
The DBS GT Zagato
Styled and built to celebrate a 60-year collaboration with Zagato Design, the contemporary DBS GT Zagato incorporates many traditional Zagato features, including the signature ‘double bubble’ roof and lightweight carbon fiber body panels. Based on Aston Martin’s celebrated DBS Superleggera chassis and running gear, the DBS GT Zagato is powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, producing 760 bhp and 900nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. It combines luxurious touches with dominant, high-performance capabilities.
The DBS GT Zagato features unique styling elements, such as a bespoke carbon fiber body, an active front grille, a full-length carbon ‘double bubble’ roof with a digital rearview camera mirror, exclusive lighting, and a unique cabin environment with signature Zagato trim. This blend of enhanced performance and lightweight materials, wrapped in a stunning Zagato design, makes it a modern classic.
With only 19 produced, the DBS GT Zagato is one of the rarest Aston Martins of all time, even rarer than the legendary One-77. The DBS GT Zagato is poised to become a future collector’s classic, standing out even among the most exclusive automotive collections.
