Mazda Southern Africa has taken its people-first philosophy to new heights with the launch of its inaugural Omotenashi Day—a celebration inspired by the Japanese ethos at the heart of Mazda: “Your happiness is our happiness.”

Held at The Forum in Hyde Park, the event brought together Mazda’s entire team alongside the full dealer network—a first for the region. Omotenashi Day marked a milestone in dealer engagement, recognising the crucial role dealers play in delivering Mazda’s promise while reinforcing the sense of community that defines the brand in South Africa.

More than a concept, Omotenashi is a way of thinking that shapes how Mazda treats customers, colleagues, and the wider Mazda community.
