Leapmotor has made a powerful entrance onto the global stage with the debut of its highly anticipated B10 at the Paris Motor Show. As the brand’s first global model, this sleek C-SUV represents a major milestone in Leapmotor’s journey towards international expansion, underscoring the company’s ambition to make electric mobility accessible to consumers worldwide. The B10’s debut also highlights Leapmotor’s rapid growth in Europe, where it has already established a strong presence with over 200 dealers across 13 markets and plans to expand to 500 sales points by 2025.

The B10: Leapmotor’s Global Flagship
The B10 is the first model in Leapmotor’s B-series, a lineup designed specifically for global markets. Built on the advanced LEAP 3.5 architecture, this C-SUV combines cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious engineering, targeting tech-savvy consumers who prioritize both sustainability and innovation. Among its key features are advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a customizable digital cockpit, and intelligent driving capabilities, all of which reflect Leapmotor’s focus on delivering a high-tech, user-centric driving experience.

Zhu Jiangming, Founder of Leapmotor, introduced the B10 with a clear vision for the future of the brand: “The B10 embodies our vision for an electric future—offering not only superior performance and smart connectivity, but also making that future accessible to consumers worldwide.” This emphasis on accessibility is a cornerstone of Leapmotor’s strategy, as the brand seeks to carve out a space for itself in the highly competitive global EV market.

Global Ambitions Backed by Stellantis
Leapmotor’s partnership with automotive giant Stellantis plays a crucial role in its global expansion strategy. Through this collaboration, Leapmotor gains access to Stellantis’ extensive service infrastructure and resources, enabling the brand to provide unparalleled after-sales support and a strong foothold in key markets. As Tianshu Xin, CEO of Leapmotor International, explained during the unveiling, “Leapmotor International may be a start-up, but it’s a start-up with two incredibly strong parents. One brings innovation and competitive pricing to the table, while the other—through our partnership with Stellantis—offers powerful global resources and an unmatched service infrastructure.”

This partnership positions Leapmotor for success as it expands beyond its home market in China, with plans to launch in India, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and South America starting in late 2024.

Leapmotor Set To Electrify The Paris Motor Show 2024 With Innovative Lineup

Expanding the Portfolio: The Future of Leapmotor’s B-Series
The B10 is just the beginning of Leapmotor’s global journey. The brand is already preparing to launch additional models from the B-series by 2025, with each new vehicle reflecting Leapmotor’s commitment to integrating advanced technology, environmental responsibility, and competitive pricing. The B-series is expected to play a pivotal role in the company’s global expansion, offering consumers a range of electric vehicles that blend style, performance, and affordability.

In addition to the B10, Leapmotor showcased other models at the Paris Motor Show, including the C16, a D-SUV with an 800V silicon carbide platform designed for fast charging, and the T03, a compact urban EV starting at an affordable 18,900 euros. These models, alongside the B10, demonstrate Leapmotor’s ability to cater to a diverse range of consumers, from urban drivers to families seeking spacious, high-performance electric vehicles.

Leapmotor’s Vision for Europe
Leapmotor’s presence in Europe is rapidly growing, with its dealer network already spanning 13 countries. The company’s ambitious goal of reaching 500 sales points by 2025 is part of a broader strategy to establish itself as a leader in the European EV market. The brand’s promise, “Excellence within Reach,” encapsulates its mission to bring high-tech, affordable electric vehicles to consumers across the continent.

Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, highlighted the importance of Leapmotor’s European expansion, noting that the partnership allows both companies to offer innovative, affordable electric mobility solutions to a global audience. “Together with Leapmotor, we are making high-tech, affordable electric mobility accessible to consumers beyond Greater China,” Tavares said, reflecting the shared vision that underpins this strategic collaboration.

Looking Ahead
Leapmotor’s global debut at the Paris Motor Show marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the brand. With the B10 leading the way, Leapmotor is poised to make significant strides in the global electric vehicle market, supported by its strong partnership with Stellantis and its commitment to innovation, accessibility, and sustainability. As Leapmotor continues to expand its portfolio and reach new markets, it is clear that the brand’s vision for the future of electric mobility is just beginning to unfold.
