Jetour, an SUV brand with global acclaim, made its South African debut in late September and has already hit a notable milestone, with 568 units sold across its X70 Plus and Dashing ranges. The brand’s swift impact suggests that it is well on its way to reaching its ambitious year-end target of 1,500 units, positioning it as a serious player in South Africa’s competitive SUV market.

A Strategic Entrance with Customer-Centric Support
With a global sales record of over 1.3 million vehicles sold in just under six years, Jetour entered South Africa with an advanced after-sales strategy and an initial 24 shipments stocked at its Midrand headquarters in Johannesburg. The brand’s robust infrastructure includes 40 dealerships nationwide, ensuring easy access and support for customers across the country.

Backed by strong local partnerships, Jetour has quickly established an impressive dealership network. Automotive giants like Super Group—representing over 29 automotive brands—have launched three exclusive Jetour dealerships in South Africa. Other well-known names, such as William Simpson in Tokai, Cape Town, and Lazarus Motor Company in Centurion, have also introduced Jetour into their showrooms. These dealerships are driving customer interest by offering exclusive access to Jetour’s models, attractive financing packages, seasonal discounts, and competitive pricing, all of which appeal to the South African market.
