London, United Kingdom; 28 October 2025 – The all-new Farizon SV, distributed in the UK by Jameel Motors UK, marks a major step forward for sustainable mobility in the commercial vehicle segment. Developed from the ground up as a born-electric large van, the SV integrates environmental consciousness into every stage of its lifecycle — from raw material sourcing and manufacturing to long-term recyclability.
Built for the Future, from the First Bolt
Every Farizon SV is designed with circularity in mind. Its body structure uses 10 per cent recycled materials, while 85 per cent of all materials can be recycled at the end of its life and 95 per cent are recoverable. The chassis and body are constructed from high-strength steel and hybrid aluminium-steel composites, reducing overall vehicle weight by eight per cent — a design optimisation that directly improves energy efficiency and extends driving range.
Beneath the surface, the SV’s drive-by-wire platform represents the next generation of intelligent vehicle engineering. The system minimises mechanical complexity, enabling more precise energy management while reducing component weight — aligning efficiency, safety, and sustainability in one cohesive framework.
A Global Benchmark in Green Manufacturing
At the heart of Farizon’s sustainability push lies its flagship Xiangtan manufacturing facility, located in the Hunan province’s Economic Development Zone. Conceived from the outset as a zero-carbon plant, the facility is fast becoming a benchmark for carbon-neutral commercial vehicle production worldwide.
The Xiangtan site is powered by 100 per cent renewable energy, primarily solar and wind, with on-site generation capacity exceeding 40 per cent of total energy consumption. Its closed-loop water recycling system reduces freshwater dependency by 75 per cent, while AI-optimised logistics cut ancillary emissions by 30 per cent.
These efforts ensure that every SV produced is not merely an electric vehicle, but a symbol of the circular economy in action — fully aligned with the EU Green Deal and the global transition towards low-carbon industry standards.

Circular Production and Material Innovation
Farizon’s commitment to sustainability doesn’t end with its power source — it extends to every process and material choice. Over 95 per cent of production waste at the Xiangtan facility is recycled, including metal scraps, plastics, and battery materials. This figure far exceeds the EU’s end-of-life vehicle directives.
Paint shops employ water-based coatings with near-zero VOC emissions, while laser-brazing technology replaces traditional lead-based soldering. Inside, the SV’s cabin incorporates ocean-recycled plastics and certified organic fabrics, cutting virgin material usage by half.
A digital twin system continuously monitors and simulates the energy profile of each production run, ensuring every van’s carbon footprint is tracked, optimised, and minimised.
Local Sourcing, Global Responsibility
Farizon’s sustainability ethos also governs its supply chain. The company’s Green Partner Certification requires all Tier One suppliers to hold ISO 14001 accreditation and disclose their carbon data. Over 60 per cent of components are sourced from within a 500 km radius, supported by electric inbound logistics to further reduce transportation emissions.
Beyond manufacturing, Farizon’s environmental efforts extend into its community initiatives. The Xiangtan facility operates a battery regeneration hub that refurbishes used EV batteries for use in solar farms, and a training centre dedicated to upskilling workers in circular-economy manufacturing techniques.
Driving a Sustainable Tomorrow
“Environmental considerations are rightly key for both large fleet operators and individual tradespeople when deciding which all-electric van is right for them,” said Cook Xue, CEO of Farizon Auto International Company. “We’ve worked hard from the outset to ensure the new Farizon SV van features sustainability at its core, whether that’s in sourcing components from a localised supply chain, implementing low-carbon manufacturing techniques, or ensuring drivers benefit from exceptional efficiency.”
He continued: “We have more work to do, certainly, but we are proud of the industry-leading advances we have made in minimising the impact of our operations and our products on our planet, and in supporting users around the world to transition to a more sustainable transport industry.”
A Van That Redefines What ‘Clean’ Means
The Farizon SV is more than a practical zero-emissions vehicle — it is a statement of intent. From its renewable-powered production and recycled interiors to its low-impact supply chain and digital transparency, every element has been re-engineered for a cleaner, smarter, and more responsible future.
In an industry accelerating towards sustainability, the Farizon SV doesn’t just keep pace — it sets the standard.
