The new Volkswagen T-Cross

Volkswagen is set to redefine the compact SUV segment with the upgraded T-Cross, now available for pre-order. With an exterior that boasts a more refined design, the new T-Cross features standard LED headlights and tail light clusters, signaling a shift towards a more modern aesthetic. Stepping inside, one is greeted with an interior that has seen significant enhancements both in terms of material quality and technological advancements. This includes a state-of-the-art infotainment system that adds a touch of sophistication to the driving experience. Starting at a competitive price point of 23,250 euros in Germany, the SUV offers exceptional value, combining innovation and affordability.

Beyond its striking aesthetics, the T-Cross is versatile, engineered for both urban adventurers and families alike. Its spacious interior comfortably seats up to five passengers and offers a unique rear bench seat that can be adjusted to maximize space. When fully occupied, the boot capacity ranges from 385 to 455 liters, depending on the seating arrangement. However, with the rear seats folded, the storage space can expand up to an impressive 1,281 liters. For those with a penchant for adventure, the T-Cross can accommodate a range of equipment, from surfboards to ladders, courtesy of its extended cargo space that reaches a length of 2,398 mm.

Under the hood, the T-Cross offers three turbocharged petrol engines with power outputs of 70 kW, 85 kW, and 110 kW. Potential buyers can select from four distinct equipment lines, with the top tiers being the elegant Style and the sporty R-Line. Additionally, the vehicle is available in three new captivating colors: Grape Yellow, Clear Blue Metallic, and Kings Red Metallic. In terms of towing capabilities, the T-Cross has been upgraded to handle a drawbar load of 75 kg, catering to the increased demand for e-bike transportation.

Volkswagen’s commitment to enhancing driving comfort is evident in the T-Cross’s optional Travel Assist feature. This system facilitates smoother vehicle control by automatically adjusting speed based on traffic conditions, road bends, and roundabouts. Coupled with Lane Assist, the vehicle maintains its lane position, further enhancing safety and driving ease.

To further enrich the driving experience, Volkswagen has endowed the T-Cross with several equipment upgrades. Even the base version of the SUV comes equipped with new LED headlights, a Digital Cockpit, and Park Assist features. The Life version includes 16-inch Nottingham alloy wheels and smartphone app integration. For those seeking premium features, the Style and R-Line variants offer advanced light functions, specialized alloy wheels, exterior background lighting, and a more expansive infotainment display. These versions come with a powerful 85 kW TSI engine and an optional upgrade to the 110 kW TSI Evo2 engine.

The enhanced Volkswagen T-Cross stands as a testament to Volkswagen’s commitment to quality, innovation, and value. It embodies the perfect blend of style, functionality, and technology, ensuring a superior driving experience for all.
