London, UK (24th May 2024) – The London Concours is thrilled to announce a stunning tribute to one of the most esteemed coachbuilders in automotive history: Zagato. This year’s event, taking place from June 4th to 6th at the Honourable Artillery Company in the heart of the city, will feature a retrospective display of Zagato’s most breathtaking designs. Presented by DRVN Group, this exhibit will span from the 1950s to the present day, showcasing Zagato’s innovative and timeless contributions to automotive design. Andrea Zagato, CEO of Zagato, will be in attendance to judge the category.
The display will kick off with the exquisite 1958 Abarth 750 Zagato DB. This lightweight sports car is a testament to Zagato’s signature “double bubble” roof design, merging aerodynamic efficiency with Italian styling elegance. Powered by a spirited 750cc engine and boasting a lightweight body, the Abarth 750 Zagato DB was a formidable competitor on the racetrack, winning numerous races and accolades.
Another highlight is the 1960 Bristol 406 Zagato, an exceptional blend of British engineering and Italian design. Only six of these grand-tourers were ever produced, making it an exceptionally rare sight. The Bristol 406 Zagato features a sleek aluminium body and is powered by a 2.2-litre straight-six engine. Weighing just over 1100kg, it was significantly lighter and more agile than the standard Bristol 406, offering improved acceleration and top speed.

The display will also feature the bold 1991 Alfa Romeo SZ, affectionately known as “Il Mostro” for its unconventional design. The SZ’s angular lines and striking presence marked a departure from Alfa Romeo’s traditional styling, showcasing Zagato’s willingness to push design boundaries. Based on the Alfa Romeo 75, it featured a 3.0-litre V6 engine producing 210 horsepower. Visitors will also see the convertible RZ version, with only 278 ever made.
A rare gem, the Ferrari 550 Zagato GTZ Barchetta, will be another centerpiece. Created in 2009 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Ferrari and Zagato’s collaboration, this car features a curvaceous body inspired by the 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta. With a 5.5-litre V12 engine producing 485 horsepower, it exemplifies the perfect blend of Ferrari’s performance and Zagato’s elegance.
One of Zagato’s more recent masterpieces, the 2012 Aston Martin V12 Zagato, will also be showcased. This car celebrates the 50th anniversary of the DB4GT Zagato, combining Aston Martin’s engineering with Zagato’s design artistry. The V12 Zagato features the iconic double-bubble roof and enlarged rear arches, powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 510 horsepower. With only 65 examples built, it is a rare and stunning piece of automotive history.
