BMW electric vehicle (EV) drivers in Ukraine can now enjoy a more convenient and streamlined charging experience, thanks to a new partnership between Parkopedia, AWT Bavaria Ukraine, and BMW AG. This collaboration has successfully integrated 4,272 Ukrainian charging points into select BMW models and the MyBMW app, significantly improving accessibility to charging infrastructure across the country.
Revolutionising EV Charging in Ukraine
The partnership aims to provide BMW EV owners with seamless access to real-time charging station data, including precise locations, availability, and provider details. By enabling this integration, BMW ensures that its customers can effortlessly locate the nearest charging stations along their routes, reducing charging-related stress and improving overall convenience.
This development is particularly significant for Ukraine, an emerging market for EV adoption. With charging infrastructure being a key component in the transition to electric mobility, the addition of accurate and comprehensive charge point data represents a major step forward in encouraging more drivers to make the switch to electric vehicles.
Enhancing the BMW EV Experience
Through this integration, BMW EV drivers can now:
- Easily search for and navigate to charging stations via their vehicle’s infotainment system or the MyBMW app.
- View detailed charging station information, including connector types, power levels, and operating hours.
- Check real-time availability of charging points, minimising wait times and reducing range anxiety.
- Select preferred charging providers for a personalised charging experience.

Commitment to Sustainable Mobility
The initiative aligns with BMW’s global strategy to support sustainable mobility and expand EV infrastructure in developing markets. Markus Dohl, VP of Sales Europe at Parkopedia, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, stating:
“This latest partnership demonstrates our continued focus on enabling EV drivers to locate and navigate to their desired charging locations around the world. In-car EV charging data plays a pivotal role in emerging EV markets and is crucial in facilitating the uptake of EVs in Ukraine. We are honoured to provide this service in the country, which wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration of our local CPO partners.”
Erik Berning, CEO of AWT Bavaria, echoed these sentiments, adding:
“We always strive to provide our customers with the best driving experience possible, and this partnership with Parkopedia is an important step in this direction. By expanding access to charging stations and providing information about them, we are making electric car ownership even more convenient and affordable. Such important partnerships help to contribute to the development of environmentally friendly mobility in Ukraine and improve the experience of electric vehicle usage.”
Collaborative Efforts Driving Change
This in-market service is made possible through innovative collaborations with charging point operators (CPOs), including YASNO E-Mobility, TOKA, and Ecofactor, as well as the local IONITY network. Additionally, GO TO-U, a long-term Parkopedia partner, has played a key role in extending EV charging services within Ukraine.
By enhancing the accessibility of charging infrastructure, this initiative represents a major leap forward in Ukraine’s EV landscape. As adoption rates continue to rise, BMW, Parkopedia, and AWT Bavaria Ukraine remain committed to ensuring that EV drivers have the necessary tools and resources to make electric mobility more accessible and practical.
With this integration, BMW drivers in Ukraine can now navigate their journeys with greater ease and confidence, reinforcing BMW’s dedication to pioneering sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions worldwide.
