Beaulieu’s famous International Autojumble, the biggest outdoor sale of motoring items this side of the Atlantic, is back for its 46th year on the 8th and 9th September 2012. Taking place in the picturesque Beaulieu parkland, this is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the motoring calendar and a ‘must’ visit for all veteran, vintage and classic vehicle enthusiasts.

BEAULIEU Autojumble sales

This year’s event looks set to be as popular as ever.  With over 2,000 standsgroaning with all kinds of motoring ephemera covering all motoring eras, there really is something for everyone with lots of bargains to be had. In the Beaulieu Arena an eclectic mix of up to 200 vehicles will be on sale in the AutoMart, from restoration projects to cars in concours condition, whilst the DealerMart will have an array of classic cars for sale.

Beaulieu’s Events Manager, Judith Maddox, said: “The Autojumble is now at capacity for stands with several standholders having exhibited at the event from its very first year in 1967.  This is a real testament to the enduring appeal of the show not just for the volume and range of goods on offer, but also as a meeting place for old friends and like minded motoring enthusiasts.”

The traditionally cosmopolitan flavour of the International Autojumble will be much in evidence again this year. Recent years have seen an increase in the number of foreign standholders and English is by no means the predominant language to be heard spoken on the event fields.

On Saturday, Bonhams will be holding an auction of collectors’ cars, motorcycles and automobilia with entry by catalogue only (tel: 0207 393 3900). Trunk Traders is a Sunday bonus with amateur jumblers selling their surplus motoring bits from the back of their cars.

Admission to Beaulieu on both days will be from 8.30am, when programmes will be available to purchase and visitors will be able to access the National Motor Museum, toilets, and Brabazon Restaurant, where breakfast will be served. The event will open from 10am – 5pm on Saturday, and from 9.30am – 4.30pm on Sunday. On the day inclusive ticket prices are 1 day adult, £14.30 (Sat), £12.70 (Sun), 1 day child, £8.70 (Sat), and £8.40 (Sun), less if purchased in advance online at

www.beaulieushop.co.uk

until 5th September, and by telephone on 01590 612888 until 7th September.

Admission gives entry to the whole Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey and Palace House and gardens. Don’t miss BOND IN MOTION; the largest exhibition of its kind staged anywhere in the world, it showcases 50 of the best loved and most iconic Bond vehicles – some never before seen in public – in celebration of the 50th year of James Bond films.

For those wishing to exhibit, stand prices start at £125, a Trunk Traders Sunday space is £50 and for those wishing to sell a vehicle in the Automart, £80.
