Valhalla leads a spectacular display of cutting-edge engineering, timeless design, and spine-tingling performance
25 June 2025, Gaydon, UK – Aston Martin is set to command the spotlight at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed (10–13 July) with its most exhilarating and diverse line-up to date, showcasing the very soul of the brand: breathtaking performance, sophisticated craftsmanship and a heritage steeped in motorsport glory.
In a fitting tribute to the world’s most revered celebration of speed and power, the British marque will storm the iconic Goodwood Hillclimb with a dynamic collection of sports cars and hypercars, led by the much-anticipated UK public dynamic debut of Valhalla—Aston Martin’s first mid-engine series production supercar.
Valhalla Ascends
A defining moment for the Festival and the brand, the Valhalla makes its first dynamic UK appearance following its global debut at the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this year, where it was piloted by none other than two-time Formula One® World Champion Fernando Alonso. This limited-edition masterpiece, capped at just 999 units, fuses Formula One®-derived engineering with elegant design language and everyday usability.
Finished in an exquisite Q by Aston Martin bespoke specification, the Valhalla is the very embodiment of a new era for the marque—one where performance and innovation converge. This hypercar harnesses advanced aerodynamics, a lightweight carbon fibre structure, and race-honed technology to deliver on its promise of ultimate driver engagement.
Valkyrie Returns to the Hill
Also returning in dramatic fashion is Valkyrie, the brand’s first road-going hypercar and a spectacle that never fails to captivate. Since its debut in 2021, Valkyrie has become an icon of Aston Martin engineering ambition, inspiring the development of the Valkyrie AMR Pro and Valkyrie Hypercar, the latter now marking Aston Martin’s triumphant return to the top class at Le Mans.
This year, festival-goers will not only be treated to the visceral sound of Valkyrie’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 thundering up the hill, but also to the Goodwood debut of the new Valkyrie Hypercar, a track-bred evolution poised to compete at the highest levels of endurance racing.

Celebrating 60 Years of Volante
Aston Martin also honours a design legacy that spans six decades with the debut of two convertible masterpieces: the DB12 Volante and Vanquish Volante. These next-generation grand tourers carry forward the elegant spirit first introduced by the Short Chassis Volante of 1965—an ultra-rare gem of which only 37 were ever built.
Their presence on the hill is a celebration not only of the Volante nameplate but of the brand’s unmatched ability to merge open-air freedom with formidable performance.
DBX S: The Supercar of SUVs
Making its presence felt in the First Glance paddock, the DBX S makes its Festival of Speed debut. This high-performance evolution of the already potent DBX707 brings heightened aggression, with 727PS and 900Nm of torque channelled through a V8 twin-turbo engine. Accelerating from 0 to 62mph in just 3.3 seconds, the DBX S promises to deliver a commanding run up the Hillclimb, complete with signature Aston Martin sound and presence.
With its striking honeycomb grille, quad exhausts and distinctive muscular stance, the DBX S reaffirms Aston Martin’s mastery in blending luxury with unrelenting capability.
A Celebration of Speed and Spirit
Jolyon Nash, Aston Martin Chief Commercial Officer, encapsulates the brand’s excitement:
“The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the highlight of the speed season. Aston Martin continues to proudly play a part in this annual celebration of the automotive world and this year in particular we are delighted to showcase Valhalla—our first mid-engine series production Aston Martin. A supercar with hypercar performance, it combines unprecedented aerodynamics with F1 race-derived engineering and striking design. We look forward to this event every year as it is truly a great opportunity to showcase our ultra-luxury performance brand to true connoisseurs of sports cars.”
From the thrilling howl of naturally aspirated V12s to the whispering power of turbocharged innovation, Aston Martin’s 2025 Goodwood presence is more than a showcase—it is a statement of intent. An ode to its past, present and future, the brand invites fans and enthusiasts to witness the extraordinary.
The 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from 10 to 13 July. Don’t miss the rare opportunity to witness some of the most beautiful and ferocious machines ever crafted—thundering up the Hill and into the pages of motoring history.
