A new British-owned electric vehicle home charging manufacturer has entered the market with the aim of offering drivers premium quality products at affordable prices.
Simpson & Partners, a family-run technology business, has been launched by the original co-founders of Andersen EV, Mandy and David Simpson, after leaving the company in 2020.
The brand’s first products, The Home Series, are a trio of beautifully designed wall boxes that are smaller than an A4 sheet of paper and engineered using high-quality materials that are reliable and built to last.
All the chargers are designed and manufactured from a brand-new state-of-the-art 5000sq. metre facility in the Cotswolds, which opened this summer. Each unit is designed to match the understated elegance of the surrounding area.
Simpson & Partners untethered chargers come in three different models, from 3.6-22kW, and have over 100 different carefully selected colour combinations as well as sustainably sourced front panel options.
With prices starting from £649, The Home Series is simple to use, install and is compatible with all hybrid and electric vehicles.
Simpson & Partners charging units can be controlled using a mobile app, which connects to the charger whether internet is available or not.
It allows customers to check on the charging levels of their car, schedule and charge their vehicles when energy prices are at their lowest, link to solar panels if they have them, and lock the charger.
The Home Plus chargers are compatible with three-phase and solar power and seamlessly integrate with the customer’s home energy system.
The Home Series is available nationwide and can easily be installed by any qualified electrician. There are over 180 approved installers working with Simpson & Partners to install its charging units.
