Pretoria, South Africa – Wednesday, 20 August 2025 – Land Rover has confirmed that just 60 examples of the adventure-ready Defender 110 Trophy Edition will be available in South Africa, offering local enthusiasts a rare opportunity to own a piece of Defender history.
The Trophy Edition pays tribute to the brand’s storied past in global adventure challenges, while reimagining the Defender as the ultimate modern expedition companion. Its distinctive specification blends rugged capability with heritage-inspired design, celebrating the spirit of exploration for a new generation.
Available exclusively in Deep Sandglow Yellow—a contemporary interpretation of the shade synonymous with historic Trophy vehicles—or Keswick Green, a colour rooted in Defender’s rural British heritage, the Trophy Edition makes an immediate visual statement. Both hues can be complemented with an optional Matte Protective Film, adding durability and reassurance for those venturing far from the beaten track. Contrasting Gloss Black details across the bonnet, bodyside, brake calipers and recovery eyes further enhance the bold appearance.
The exterior is distinguished by 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres, bespoke Trophy decals and rear badging, while functional accessories elevate off-road performance. Standard features include a raised air intake, gloss black wheel arch protection, mud flaps, a black front undershield, and a deployable roof ladder with an expedition roof rack for added versatility. A gloss black side-mounted gear carrier also provides additional storage for outdoor essentials.
Inside, the cabin strikes a balance between luxury and toughness. Ebony Windsor Leather seats offer refinement, while illuminated Trophy tread plates and a body-colour cross-car beam with unique laser-etched endcaps underscore the model’s exclusivity.
Priced at R2,227,800, the Defender 110 Trophy Edition is more than just a vehicle—it is a passport to adventure. Orders are now open via [The New Defender Trophy Edition | Ready for Any Adventure].
