Renault is arriving at the 2026 Commercial Vehicle Show with a clear message: the future of commercial transport is not a single technology path, but a flexible ecosystem where electric, ICE and conversion-ready solutions work in parallel to meet real business demands.
At the NEC Birmingham, the spotlight falls firmly on the production-ready Renault Trafic E-Tech electric, making its UK debut in final form. This is more than just a new van launch. It is also the first commercial expression of Renault Group’s Software Defined Vehicle approach in the LCV space. Built on a dedicated platform and equipped with advanced 800V charging technology, the Trafic E-Tech electric is designed to deliver faster charging, improved operational range usability and a more connected digital experience for fleet operators who depend on uptime as much as capability.
Alongside the production model, Renault is showing how adaptable the Trafic E-Tech platform can be in real-world applications. A range of pre-production and conversion-ready variants will be on display, including a new platform cab and a specialist refrigerated conversion developed with Petit Forestier. These examples form part of Renault’s ‘Converted by Renault’ programme, which brings factory-engineered base vehicles together with approved bodybuilders to improve build quality, reduce lead times and create more predictable outcomes for fleet buyers.
The stand also highlights Renault’s broader vision for urban logistics and last-mile delivery with the Estafette concept. This modern electric reinterpretation of a classic LCV design reflects how compact, efficient and purpose-built vehicles are becoming essential in increasingly congested cities. It sits alongside established models such as the Kangoo E-Tech electric and the Renault Trafic passenger and panel van range, reinforcing the brand’s breadth across different commercial needs.
A key real-world addition this year is Renault’s mobile servicing van, based on the multi-award-winning Renault Master. Designed to bring maintenance directly to fleet customers, it reduces downtime and keeps vehicles operational for longer, turning aftersales into a mobile service rather than a workshop dependency.
For the first time at the show, visitors will also be able to experience Renault’s latest vans through a dedicated on-site test drive programme. This includes the Kangoo E-Tech electric, Master E-Tech electric, Trafic passenger models and the new UK-exclusive Trafic Graphite Edition, which combines enhanced specification with distinctive design touches.
Renault’s presence at CV Show 2026 reflects strong momentum in the fleet sector, following its strongest true fleet performance in over a decade in 2025. Renault LCV also ranked third in the UK true fleet market, excluding pick-ups, underscoring its growing relevance in commercial operations that are rapidly transitioning toward electrification and smarter vehicle integration.
The Renault stand will be located in Hall 5 at the NEC Birmingham (stand 5F84), from 21 to 23 April, as part of the UK’s largest dedicated commercial vehicle exhibition.
