(Crewe, 7 March 2025) – Bentley Motors has proudly welcomed three world-class musical artists—Anna Lapwood MBE, Tina Guo, and Sister Bliss—to its Crewe headquarters as part of its ongoing Extraordinary Women programme. The trio has collaborated to design a bespoke Bentley Continental GTC, a striking testament to female empowerment, artistic expression, and luxury craftsmanship. This one-of-a-kind commission will be handcrafted by Bentley’s artisans and revealed in Q4 of this year.
A Symphony of Creativity and Innovation
The Extraordinary Women initiative reflects Bentley’s unwavering commitment to championing gender equality, fostering inclusivity, and elevating women’s voices across industries. Recognising the extraordinary impact of these artists in their respective fields, Bentley invited them to co-design a car that embodies their creativity and shared vision. The result is a unique Continental GTC, custom-tailored through Bentley’s prestigious Mulliner division, with design elements inspired by each musician’s artistic journey.
Guiding this project were two leading female designers from Bentley’s Mulliner team, ensuring that the musicians’ vision was seamlessly translated into automotive artistry. Every detail—from bespoke interior finishes to handcrafted exterior flourishes—will reflect their creative legacy and the spirit of collaboration that defines this partnership. This special Continental GTC will be meticulously assembled at Bentley’s renowned Dream Factory in Crewe, a facility dedicated to sustainable luxury and craftsmanship.
Extraordinary Talks: Empowering Change
Beyond the creation of this bespoke grand tourer, Bentley hosted an Extraordinary Talk session for over 100 colleagues, featuring Lapwood, Guo, and Sister Bliss. The discussion explored themes of creativity, leadership, and the pursuit of excellence in traditionally male-dominated industries. Sharing their experiences, the artists encouraged attendees to embrace innovation, challenge conventions, and drive progress within their own fields.
Bentley’s Extraordinary Women programme continues to make a significant impact by promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). This latest collaboration underscores the company’s dedication to fostering cross-industry connections and empowering talent, reinforcing its position as a leader in both luxury automotive and social responsibility.
