Milton Keynes/Ingolstadt/Neckarsulm, January 14, 2026 – Audi closed 2025 on a high note for electric mobility, marking a milestone year with record deliveries of its all-electric vehicles. While total global deliveries dipped slightly compared with 2024, the momentum behind Audi’s electrification strategy signals a decisive shift in consumer preference and market focus.
Global Deliveries Reflect Strategic Growth
Audi delivered over 1.6 million vehicles worldwide in 2025, representing a modest decline of roughly 3% year over year. Despite the global headwinds of geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty, and trade policy fluctuations, the brand’s monthly performance has been steadily improving since September.
The order books tell a compelling story: total orders rose over 13% compared to 2024, with demand for electric vehicles (EVs) surging by approximately 58%. Deliveries of all-electric models reached a record 223,000 units, a 36% increase over the previous year.
“Our product initiative is hitting the road, and deliveries are gradually reflecting this,” said Marco Schubert, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing. “Customers are eagerly adopting models such as the Audi A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron. This upward trajectory is set to continue into 2026, supported by our dealer network and corporate strategy.”
Europe: Strong Momentum Across Key Markets
Europe remained a pillar of Audi’s performance. Excluding Germany, the brand delivered over 464,000 vehicles, matching last year’s total, with EV deliveries climbing approximately 40% to 113,000 units.
In Audi’s home market of Germany, more than 206,000 vehicles were delivered (+4%), including 41,000 all-electric units (+89%). The significant uptick in EV adoption demonstrates the success of the latest models in capturing domestic attention.
Audi Sport, however, experienced a minor setback: 36,000 high-performance vehicles were delivered globally, a 13% decline due to reduced availability from model changeovers.
North America: EV Leadership Despite Market Pressure
In North America, Audi delivered over 202,000 vehicles (-12%), but the brand set a new EV delivery record of approximately 33,000 units (+15%). Canada contributed strongly with 37,000 units (+11%), reinforcing Audi’s growing presence in the premium electric segment.
“Despite starting 2025 with a low order bank due to model changeovers, Audi surged ahead in the second half of the year to lead the UK premium market,” noted José Miguel Aparicio, Audi UK Director.
China: Navigating Intense Competition
Competition in China remained intense, with Audi delivering around 618,000 vehicles (-5%), yet securing a leading position among core competitors. The Chinese market will continue to see rapid model introductions in 2026, including the Audi A6L, A6L e-tron, Q5L, and the AUDI E7X.
Emerging Markets: Steady Growth
In overseas and emerging markets, Audi increased deliveries by approximately 6% to 134,000 vehicles, with all-electric units up 26% (14,000 units). Notable growth was recorded in Argentina (+77%), Turkey (+28%), and Egypt (+21%), highlighting the expanding global appetite for EVs.
Audi UK: A Record-Breaking Year for EVs
Audi UK emerged as a standout market in 2025, delivering 111,115 vehicles, securing 5.5% market share, and ranking as the UK’s number two premium brand. Of these deliveries, 30,955 were all-electric vehicles, representing a record 28% of total sales.
The Audi Q4 e-tron and Q6 e-tron models were particularly popular, with 14,443 and 13,148 units sold, respectively. These models ranked among the top five best-selling battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) in the UK, reflecting consistent consumer enthusiasm.
Traditional favorites also performed strongly: the new Q3 and Q5 SUVs and Sportbacks found homes with 10,194 and 6,488 customers, while the A1 Sportback and reworked A3 Saloon and Sportback generated a combined 39,299 orders. The all-new A5 Saloon and Avant ranges further reinforced Audi’s premium appeal with 8,352 units delivered.
“In the face of considerable market challenges, Audi UK has delivered an outstanding result,” said José Miguel Aparicio. “Our ambitious product offensive and investment in customer experience are ensuring Audi maintains its competitive edge in electromobility for years to come.”
Looking Ahead: 2026 and Beyond
Audi enters 2026 well-positioned to extend its EV leadership, leveraging a strong product portfolio, dealer network, and international strategy. With record-setting deliveries, expanding order books, and robust performance across Europe, North America, and emerging markets, Audi’s electrification journey is accelerating, signalling a future where EVs will play a dominant role in the brand’s global footprint.
The record-breaking adoption of A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron models, alongside sustained growth in traditional lineups, highlights Audi’s ability to navigate challenging markets while driving the transition to sustainable mobility.
As global demand for electrified vehicles continues to rise, Audi’s strategic investments, model innovation, and market agility position the brand as a front-runner in the premium EV segment, ready to shape the next chapter of automotive evolution.
