The spirit of performance returns to the Sussex countryside as Goodwood Members' Meeting welcomes back Alpine for the 2026 edition on April 18–19. Known for its raw motorsport atmosphere and celebration of driving purity, the event provides a fitting stage for a brand built on lightweight engineering, precision handling and competition-born character.
This year, Alpine is taking its presence a step further by occupying the circuit’s infield Aerodrome, transforming it into a dedicated brand environment. More than a display space, it becomes an immersive expression of Alpine’s evolving identity, bridging its racing heritage with its fully electric future. Visitors will be able to move through a curated world where design, innovation and motorsport philosophy converge in one continuous narrative.
At the centre of this showcase is the new Alpine A390, a model that signals a pivotal moment in the brand’s expansion. Positioned at the Goodwood shop and outside the Aerodrome, the A390 arrives as Alpine opens order books, marking its entry into a new performance segment within its electric “Dream Garage”.
The A390 itself blends practicality with unmistakable sporting intent. As a fully electric five-seat fastback, it delivers up to 470PS and accelerates from 0–62mph in as little as 3.9 seconds, supported by an 89kWh battery offering up to 345 miles WLTP range. Its chassis tuning draws direct inspiration from the A110, while Alpine Active Torque Vectoring adds another layer of agility and control, reinforcing the brand’s obsession with driver engagement even in an electrified format.
What makes this moment particularly significant is how seamlessly it integrates into the ethos of Goodwood Members' Meeting. The event has always celebrated machines that feel alive in the hands of the driver, whether historic racers or modern performance icons. Alpine’s presence leans into that philosophy, presenting electrification not as a departure from emotion, but as its evolution.
According to Nicola Burnside, Brand Director, Alpine UK, Goodwood offers a natural home for the brand because it attracts an audience that understands performance at a deeper level. This year’s focus on the A390 underscores both continuity and transformation, showing how Alpine is redefining itself while remaining anchored to the principles that made its name in motorsport.
As the Aerodrome becomes a temporary Alpine universe, visitors will experience more than a car display. It is a statement of intent, a glimpse into how the brand intends to translate racing DNA into its electric future, without diluting the sense of connection between car and driver that has always defined it.
