Alpine has reached a historic milestone in 2025, exceeding 10,000 vehicle registrations for the first time in its history, with 10,970 units sold—a remarkable 139.2% increase compared with 2024. The French sports car brand has reinforced its position in the European premium segment, achieving growth across all markets, particularly in France (+89.5%), the UK (+369.5%), and Germany (+133.5%).
A110 Continues to Dominate the Two-Seater Sports Coupé Market
The Alpine A110 remains a benchmark in the two-seater sports coupé segment, selling 2,681 units last year, with more than 61% in top-tier GTS or higher specifications. The A110 R and A110 R 70 accounted for 22.7% of A110 sales, underscoring Alpine’s appeal to enthusiasts seeking high-performance models. Despite being in the final phase of its current production cycle after more than eight years on the market, the A110 retained a dominant 44% market share in Europe, leading in countries including France, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, and Poland.
A290 Makes a Strong Debut, A390 Promises an Exciting Future
The Alpine A290, the brand’s first electric hot hatch and 2025 Car of the Year, contributed 75% of total sales, with 8,198 units sold globally. Its success highlights Alpine’s ability to combine electrification with the brand’s signature driving pleasure.
Looking ahead, the Alpine A390—Alpine’s first sport fastback—will expand the brand’s reach to new customers. Scheduled to go on sale in the UK later this year from £61,390, the A390 represents Alpine’s commitment to innovation, performance, and growth in the premium market.
Expanding Presence Across Europe and Beyond
Alpine accelerated its international expansion in 2025, opening 15 new points of sale to bring its global total to 169 Alpine Stores and Atelier Alpine locations across 25 countries. With further openings planned in 2026, Alpine aims to surpass 200 locations worldwide, including new Atelier Alpine flagship stores following the successful launches in Barcelona (2024) and Paris (2025).
Philippe Krief, CEO of Alpine, said: “2025 marks a historic milestone for Alpine, as we surpass 10,000 registrations and achieve triple-digit growth. We succeeded in the launch of the A290, welcoming new customers to the brand, while our iconic A110 continues to perform and inspire enthusiasts across Europe. With the brand new A390 joining the line-up, we will continue our strategy driven by innovation, electrification, and our unwavering commitment to performance and driving pleasure across Europe and beyond.”
