Bentley Motors has officially introduced its latest triumph, the Batur Convertible, as the third modern-era coachbuilt marvel from its esteemed bespoke division, Mulliner. This creation exemplifies the pinnacle of open-air grand touring with a design inspired by the progressive elements of the Batur series.
The Batur Convertible is more than just a vehicle; it’s a statement of luxury, combining Bentley’s rich heritage with cutting-edge design and personalization. Limited to just 16 units worldwide, this model presents an unrivaled opportunity for bespoke customization, pushing the boundaries of color and material with inspirations drawn from nature’s depths.
Under the retractable roof of this two-seater lies a meticulously crafted interior, showcasing advanced personalization options such as the innovative ‘airbridge’ and exquisite Rose Gold detailing. The convertible offers a sensory feast, featuring a palette of infinite paint choices, including bespoke colors and hand-painted graphics, and various surface finishes to mirror the owner’s individuality.

The heart of the Batur Convertible beats with Bentley’s most powerful W12 engine, producing 750 PS. This iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged powerhouse is set to conclude its production this summer, making these vehicles among the final few to house this legendary engine. This grand tourer not only promises exceptional performance but also heralds the design direction for future Bentley models.
The design integrates elements from both the Bacalar and the Batur coupe, maintaining the car’s high-performance lineage while enhancing the convertible experience. It features a modern, yet practical convertible roof that can be deployed in just 19 seconds, even at speeds up to 30 mph. The interior is an ode to craftsmanship, with potential for 3D printed rose gold accents and custom-tailored elements crafted by expert goldsmiths from Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.
Each Batur Convertible is painstakingly handcrafted at Bentley’s carbon-neutral facility in Crewe, England. The model stands as a testament to Mulliner’s legacy of bespoke automotive art, ensuring that each car is as unique as its owner, promising a blend of tradition, innovation, and individual expression in every aspect.
