Bentley Motors has revealed one of its most distinctive bespoke creations yet with the unveiling of the Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, developed in collaboration with internet personality The Gstaad Guy and Bentley’s renowned Mulliner division.
Designed as the ultimate luxury companion for Alpine getaways, the exclusive Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition transforms Bentley’s already lavish extended-wheelbase SUV into something resembling a five-star mountain retreat wrapped in sheet metal. It is a vehicle that swaps loud extravagance for the softer language of texture, warmth and understated craftsmanship, like a private chalet gliding silently through snow-covered passes while carrying the scent of leather and cedarwood in its wake.
Created alongside Mulliner, Bentley’s in-house bespoke department, the project marks the first dedicated limited-edition collaboration between the marque and The Gstaad Guy, whose satirical portrayals of ultra-wealthy European lifestyle culture have built a massive global following. Beneath the humour, however, sits a genuine appreciation for refined living, timeless luxury and impeccable taste, values that now shape every detail of the Chalet Edition.
Configured around the Bentayga EWB Azure platform, the SUV places comfort and wellness at the centre of the experience. The cabin features four individual comfort seats engineered to reduce fatigue on long journeys, while a rear centre console creates the atmosphere of a private lounge suspended between destinations.
Inside, Bentley leans heavily into a cocooning Alpine aesthetic. Rich Saddle leather flows throughout the interior, paired with diamond quilting, open-pore Liquid Amber wood veneers and discreet tweed detailing that feels plucked from an exclusive Swiss mountain lodge. Fireglow accents add subtle contrast without disturbing the vehicle’s restrained character, while Saddle-coloured speaker grilles house the flagship Naim for Bentley audio system.
The details become increasingly personal the deeper one looks. The Gstaad Guy’s emblem appears through subtle laser etching and discreet badging across the fascia and seat inserts, while embroidered Alpine flower motifs stitched into the headrests and cushions honour Swiss heritage and family tradition. Animated welcome lamps project bespoke graphics onto the ground upon entry, creating the sensation of arriving home rather than merely stepping into an SUV.
Speaking about the collaboration, The Gstaad Guy explained that the concept was inspired by the expectations of a fictional “Gstaad guy”, someone who pursues the finest experiences in every aspect of life, from travel and homes to the vehicles that connect them.
According to him, the Bentayga represented the only suitable foundation for such a vision, ultimately giving birth to what he calls “The Chalet Bentayga”.
Bentley Mulliner Lead Designer Hugo R. Chizlett said the project focused on craftsmanship, atmosphere and material quality rather than overt displays of wealth. He explained that every colour, finish and texture was carefully selected to embody a sense of quiet confidence while remaining unmistakably Bentley.
The exterior mirrors that philosophy perfectly. Finished in a bespoke Light Tudor Grey paintwork applied entirely by hand over roughly 60 hours, the Chalet Edition radiates subtle sophistication rather than theatrical aggression. Bronze-painted styling elements and a delicate Fireglow pinstripe accent provide just enough visual drama to catch the eye without shouting for attention.
Additional Chalet Edition badging and bespoke treadplates complete the exterior package, while buyers can further personalise the SUV with optional Saddle leather boot protectors featuring Alpine embroidery and Fireglow detailing, ideal for transporting ski equipment or luggage between luxurious winter retreats.
Available exclusively through Mulliner, the Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition feels less like a conventional special edition SUV and more like a carefully curated atmosphere on wheels. Somewhere between a private members club, an Alpine hideaway and a rolling first-class lounge, it captures Bentley at its most intimate and handcrafted. Beneath the polished veneers and muted tones lies a machine built not to dominate the road, but to make every kilometre feel like a slow-burning winter evening beside a fireplace while the outside world disappears into snowfall.
