SPECTACULAR STUNT TEAM FOR LOCAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW
The Le Riche Brothers, Bruce and Brent, will put on a spectacular, world class extreme stunt riding display as part of the entertainment at the AMiD Motorcycle Show to be staged at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, from August 24-26. These two, highly skilled riders have been thrilling crowds not only in South Africa, but also internationally.
Bruce competed in North America for four years and had a best placing as runner-up in the overall championship. He has also been rated No. 1 in SA on two occasions. His brother, Brent, competed in North America for two years and contested the SA motorcycle trials championship on nine occasions. Both brothers have performed in Spain and England.
They use a specially-built truck and trailer for the majority of their breathtaking stunts, but also have the world’s first and only trials rollover motorcycle rig, which they will be using as part of their 30 minute show at Expo Centre. They have also revised the rear ramp on their truck to make for a 3,5-metre undercut step, which will be a real challenge of their riding skill.
The brothers have been putting on their motorcycle stunt shows since 2008. Currently Brent rides a 300cc Factory Beta and Bruce a 300cc Gas Gas Racing. These are very special machines and developed over many years for the unique sport of trials riding, with a premium on low end power and manoeuvrability.
Brent and Bruce Le Riche will perform twice on Friday and three times on both Saturday and Sunday. There is no charge to watch this spectacular stunt riding display, as it is added value at an event where visitors will be able to visit three shows for the R60 price of one ticket as the AMiD motorcycle show will be co-located with the Johannesburg Boat Show and the Outdoor Lifestyle Show.
