YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Formula E Team will field Abbi Pulling and Victor Martins for the upcoming FIA Formula E Rookie Test at Circuito del Jarama on Sunday, 22 March, immediately following the inaugural Madrid E-Prix.
For 22-year-old Pulling, this marks her fifth time behind the wheel of the Nissan e‑4ORCE 05 and her second outing of the 2025/26 campaign, following her Rookie Free Practice session in Miami this January. Pulling brings prior experience at Jarama, having topped the timesheets during the first-ever all-women's test at the circuit in November 2024. Alongside her Formula E duties, the Brit will continue her second full season in the GB3 Championship, building on a promising debut that included a podium at Brands Hatch.
Victor Martins returns for his second FIA Formula E Rookie Test with Nissan, following his initial appearance during the Season 9 Rookie Test at Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit where he set the second-fastest time. The 24-year-old Frenchman, an accomplished Formula 2 race winner with 16 career podiums, including three victories, embarks on his first World Endurance Championship campaign with Alpine in 2026.
The test session at Jarama is structured across two three-hour stints, with action commencing at 09:00 local time and resuming after a break at 14:00, concluding at 17:00.

Tommaso Volpe, managing director and team principal of Nissan Formula E Team, said the test represents a key opportunity to advance the GEN3 Evo technology. “Abbi is developing strongly, her impact in preparation for each race is constantly growing, and she is improving as a Formula E driver,” he explained. “Victor is an incredibly talented driver and part of our family. His skills and experience will be invaluable as we continue building our relationship.”
Pulling expressed her excitement for the test, highlighting her comfort with the car and familiarity with the circuit. “I’m pleased to be teaming up with Nissan Formula E Team again in Jarama. I’m feeling comfortable in the car and my target is to keep improving. I’m looking forward to comparing my performance to the benchmark from last time.”
Martins added, “I’m really excited to be back with Nissan Formula E Team. I haven’t driven the GEN3 Evo before, so I’m eager to experience the all-wheel drive and learn as much as I can. I’m grateful for this opportunity and thank the team for believing in me.”
