Chery Commercial Vehicle has officially unveiled its Future Super Commercial Vehicle (FSCV) strategy at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, marking a decisive entry into the European market with the global debut of DELIVAN. The launch signals a bold reimagining of commercial mobility, where electrification, intelligence and ecosystem integration converge into a single operational philosophy designed for modern logistics.
At the centre of the announcement is DELIVAN, the first overseas expression of the FSCV strategy and a new-generation commercial vehicle concept engineered for urban logistics, last-mile delivery and high-frequency fleet operations. Built as more than a product line, DELIVAN is positioned as a complete mobility ecosystem that spans vehicles, charging infrastructure, digital platforms, telematics, servicing, warranty and lifecycle support, forming an end-to-end solution for fleet operators across the UK and Europe.
The global debut also introduced a forward-looking concept range that illustrates how FSCV translates into real-world logistics applications. A DELIVAN intelligent mobility show vehicle demonstrates capabilities tailored to dense urban delivery cycles and e-commerce fulfilment, where speed, efficiency and uptime are critical. Alongside it, the micro-cargo concept explores compact, multi-drop operations designed for tightly packed city environments, while the autonomous robot-cargo concept pushes into the future of controlled-environment logistics such as campuses, warehouses and dedicated urban delivery zones.
Rather than following traditional vehicle segmentation, DELIVAN is structured around a layered system that defines capability through function and intelligence. DELIVAN PRO forms the operational backbone, focusing on reliability, uptime and service efficiency for everyday fleet use. DELIVAN X introduces a modular customisation approach, enabling fleets to adapt vehicle configurations to specific operational demands without losing standardisation benefits. DELIVAN I represents the most advanced layer, where intelligent systems, data-driven decision-making and efficiency optimisation converge to reduce total cost of ownership and enhance productivity at scale.
This architecture reflects the broader FSCV vision of moving beyond standalone vehicles toward an integrated, data-enabled mobility system. Through continuous connectivity, DELIVAN vehicles operate as intelligent assets, supporting real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance and operational optimisation. The result is a platform designed not only to transport goods, but to actively improve how fleets are managed and deployed.
Chery Commercial Vehicle has also emphasised its commitment to localisation and collaboration across European markets. The FSCV strategy is built around four defining principles: European branding, data-driven commercialisation, value sharing and localised operations. Together, these principles position DELIVAN not as an imported solution, but as a co-developed ecosystem shaped by regional logistics needs and infrastructure realities.
Gong Yueqiong, Vice President of Chery Holding Group and General Manager of Chery Commercial Vehicle, described the launch as a structural shift in how commercial vehicles are defined in a zero-carbon era, stating that the strategy is intended to merge technology, data and ecosystem capability into a unified value system for customers. Jolly Yang, Vice President of Chery Commercial Vehicle and CEO of DELIVAN, reinforced this direction, highlighting that the platform has been engineered specifically for European operations where flexibility, efficiency and lifecycle value are increasingly critical.
By selecting the United Kingdom as the first market for its global debut, Chery Commercial Vehicle is signalling confidence in one of Europe’s most advanced and demanding commercial vehicle environments. The CV Show in Birmingham serves as both a launchpad and a testing ground, with DELIVAN positioned to evolve through partnerships across logistics, infrastructure and service networks.
With its presence at NEC Birmingham on stand 5A120 until 23 April, Chery Commercial Vehicle is setting out a long-term ambition: to redefine commercial transport not as a collection of vehicles, but as an intelligent, adaptive ecosystem built for a rapidly changing logistics landscape. The FSCV strategy and DELIVAN platform mark the first step in that journey, where electrification and intelligence are no longer future aspirations, but operational foundations.
