Chery Commercial Vehicle (CCV), part of the global Chery Holding Group, is set to make a decisive entrance onto the European stage at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, held at the National Exhibition Centre from 21–23 April. More than a regional showcase, the moment marks the brand’s first European appearance of the year and the global unveiling platform for its all-new European-focused commercial vehicle brand, DELIVAN.
The debut arrives with intent rather than hesitation. DELIVAN will be introduced as a forward-looking commercial mobility proposition designed specifically for Europe’s demanding logistics and transport landscape, accompanied by a series of concept vehicles that offer an early glimpse into the brand’s design language, technology direction and product philosophy ahead of a planned European market rollout in 2027.
Speaking ahead of the event, Jolly Yang, VP of Chery Commercial Vehicle and CEO of DELIVAN, framed the launch as a strategic inflection point for the company’s global ambitions. “This is a defining moment for Chery Commercial Vehicle as we take our first step into the European market at the Commercial Vehicle Show. Europe represents one of the most advanced and demanding commercial vehicle environments in the world, and it is exactly where we want to demonstrate the strength of our vision, our technology and our long-term commitment,” he said.
Yang highlighted that DELIVAN represents more than a new badge, positioning it as a shift towards intelligent, efficient and future-ready mobility solutions. He emphasised the growing urgency across the sector, where electrification, smarter logistics systems and connected vehicle technologies are rapidly reshaping expectations. In his view, this transition opens the door to redefine what commercial mobility can deliver when software, sustainability and operational efficiency converge.
“The launch of DELIVAN signals the beginning of a new chapter for our business,” Yang added. “As the urgency to address climate change grows, reinforcing the shift towards electrification and smarter logistics and driving demand for more efficient, connected commercial vehicles, we see an opportunity to define a new model for intelligent commercial mobility, built on advanced technology.”
The Birmingham showcase is positioned as both an unveiling and a conversation starter, signalling CCV’s intention to actively engage with European partners, fleet operators and industry stakeholders. Rather than presenting finished answers, the brand is using the CV Show as a live development stage, introducing concepts and inviting dialogue around its future roadmap and technological approach.
The timing is notable. The commercial vehicle sector is in the midst of a structural transformation, driven by electrification targets, urban delivery pressures and increasing demand for connected fleet intelligence. Within this context, CCV’s European debut suggests a long-term strategy focused on scalability, real-world usability and integration into evolving logistics ecosystems.
Across the event, media engagement will form a central part of the programme, with senior leadership and product specialists available for interviews throughout the show. Key moments will include the official DELIVAN brand unveiling and guided introductions to the concept vehicle line-up, alongside broader discussions on CCV’s European strategy and technology development direction.
On 21 April, activity on stand 5A120 will begin with a morning unveiling from 10:00 to 10:30, featuring the European debut of Chery Commercial Vehicle and the global introduction of DELIVAN alongside its concept showcase. This will be followed by an industry forum between 11:00 and 12:00, bringing together CCV leadership and industry bodies for a focused discussion on market direction and innovation. From 12:20 to 14:00, pre-booked interview sessions will offer deeper insight into product and strategy discussions.
Later that afternoon, Jolly Yang will take to the Future Fleet Arena from 14:45 to 15:15 to deliver a keynote speech, expanding on the brand’s vision and the role DELIVAN is expected to play in shaping next-generation commercial mobility.
As CCV prepares to step into one of the world’s most competitive and sophisticated vehicle markets, its Birmingham debut is less about arrival and more about ignition. DELIVAN marks the beginning of a longer trajectory, one aimed at reshaping expectations of what intelligent commercial transport can become.
