Mladá Boleslav, 4 August 2025 – The world’s premier women’s cycling race, the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, concluded its most demanding edition yet with French star Pauline Ferrand-Prévot claiming overall victory, while Lorena Wiebes took the prestigious points classification and was presented with a striking green crystal trophy created by Škoda Design.
Škoda Auto, a steadfast partner of cycling and a champion of sustainable mobility, once again played an integral role in supporting the event. As official main partner since the race’s inception in 2022, the Czech automaker not only provided a robust year-round fleet to race organiser A.S.O. but also deployed 32 electrified vehicles for this year’s nine-stage contest, reaffirming its commitment to emission-free mobility and elite sporting excellence.
Record-breaking Edition and Seamless Support
Running from 26 July to 3 August, this year’s edition spanned a record 1,165 kilometres and featured 154 riders across 22 teams, making it the longest and most physically demanding in the event’s history. The route, which traced a dramatic line from Brittany to the Savoie Alps, tested the peloton with a total elevation gain of 17,240 metres, culminating in an epic Alpine finale.
Škoda Auto’s contribution extended beyond logistics. The company’s fleet – consisting of the all-electric Enyaq and plug-in hybrid Superb iV – supported riders, team directors, and event organisers throughout the race. The iconic ‘Red Car’, a Škoda Enyaq or Superb iV, led the peloton with Race Director Marion Rousse at the helm, offering advanced communications capabilities to manage the race dynamically and safely.
At the heart of Škoda’s on-site presence was the Elroq Respectline show car, a mobile statement of the brand’s values: respect, diversity, and inclusion – echoing the ethos of women’s cycling and its growing global audience.

A Trophy Worthy of the Leader
In a fitting tribute to excellence, Lorena Wiebes, winner of the points classification, received a bespoke green crystal trophy crafted by Škoda Design. This vibrant work of art not only echoes the traditional green jersey awarded to the sprint leader – also sponsored by Škoda – but also highlights the brand’s 130th anniversary through a commemorative logo incorporated into the design.
The cup’s bold hue was achieved using a unique process where pigment is integrated directly into the glass – a technique that mirrors Škoda’s approach to innovation: thoughtful, exacting, and expressive.
Enduring Commitment to Cycling
Škoda’s connection to cycling runs deep. From its beginnings in 1895 as a bicycle manufacturer, the company has stayed true to its two-wheeled roots. Today, it backs the world’s most prestigious cycling events, having recently extended its partnership with A.S.O. through to 2028. This includes annual support for men’s and women’s races such as the Tour de France, Vuelta a España, Paris–Roubaix, and Liège–Bastogne–Liège.
Škoda’s cycling advocacy also reaches beyond the pro peloton. In May 2025, the brand announced its partnership with the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships and the UCI Gravel World Championships for the next two seasons. At a grassroots level, Škoda champions domestic races like L’Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France and the Road Classics, helping to nurture the next generation of cycling talent.
Driving the Future of Mobility and Sport
Reflecting on the 2025 race, Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, remarked:
“I sincerely congratulate all the athletes on their outstanding achievements. It is truly impressive to see what can be accomplished through fairness, respect, and teamwork – values we fully share at Škoda Auto. This year, in addition to the year-round vehicle fleet, we supplied 32 electrified vehicles specifically for the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. This demonstrates Škoda’s ongoing commitment to both its long-standing support for cycling and to emission-free individual mobility.”
From the front of the peloton to the finish line ceremonies, Škoda Auto’s presence at the 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift was more than logistical – it was a celebration of progress, performance, and a shared vision for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
