Renault continues its winning partnership with the Roland-Garros French Open for the fourth consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, sustainability and style from 19 May to 8 June 2025. As a premium partner and official transport provider of the iconic tennis tournament, Renault is once again delivering an electrified experience—both on and off the court.
From high-performance concept cars to groundbreaking mobility solutions, Renault’s presence at Roland-Garros goes beyond mere display—it’s a celebration of progress, heritage, and the art of exploration.
Renault 4 Savane 4×4 Concept: A Gentleman Explorer Reborn
Unveiled for the first time on the Renault stand at Roland-Garros 2025, the Renault 4 Savane 4×4 Concept is a modern-day tribute to a nameplate steeped in adventure. Drawing inspiration from the rugged spirit of the original Savane editions of the 1950s and 1980s, this all-electric concept dares to go further—both in design and capability.
Rugged yet refined, the show car boasts a striking Jade Green exterior, contrasted with gloss black bumpers and wheel arches, and a roof wrapped in pixel-patterned fabric for a contemporary camouflage effect. It rides 15 mm higher than the standard Renault 4 E-Tech electric and features specially designed Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ 18-inch tyres, paired with widened tracks and signature “Savane” wheels.
What sets the Savane 4×4 Concept apart is its dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup, enabled by the AmpR Small platform. A second electric motor on the rear axle ensures this compact EV can navigate a wide range of terrains—from snow and mud to unpaved trails—bringing genuine off-road ability to the urban crossover segment.
Inside, sophistication takes centre court. The Deep Brown textile seats feature quilted “4” motifs and a houndstooth finish, while the dashboard and door panels mirror this tactile refinement. A backlit 4Savane logo lends the cabin an exclusive flair, echoing the exterior’s spirit of chic utility.
“This is the Renault 4 Savane reimagined for the modern ‘gentleman explorer’,” says Sandeep Bhambra, Chief Designer Advanced, Ampere & Renault. “It’s a bold step into adventurous electrification, wrapped in timeless style.”
Performance Meets Panache: Renault 5 Turbo 3E and Roland-Garros Special Series
Adding even more spectacle to Renault’s Roland-Garros showcase is the Renault 5 Turbo 3E. Making its public debut in an electrifying black, yellow, and white livery reminiscent of the legendary 1982 Tour of Corsica car, this 555-hp ‘mini-supercar’ embodies Renault’s racing soul. With an 800V architecture and twin in-wheel motors, the Turbo 3E delivers both instant torque and head-turning drama.
Since pre-orders opened on 22 April, the Turbo 3E has sparked intense excitement—more than 500 customers and 200 dealers have already staked a claim on one of the 1,980 units, priced at €160,000.
Standing in contrast to its flamboyant sibling is the Renault 5 E-Tech electric Roland-Garros special series. Elegant and understated, this Comfort Range model with a 52 kWh battery offers up to 250 miles of range. Designed as a tribute to tennis culture and the Roland-Garros legacy, it features clay-coloured accents, light grey recycled upholstery, and the Cross of Saint Andrew motif, subtly referencing the stadium’s architecture. It’s an ode to performance, design, and the spirit of the tournament.

Renault’s Electrified Transport Fleet: 187 Vehicles, 87% Electrified
As the official transport provider for the French Open, Renault is fielding a forward-thinking fleet of 187 electrified vehicles, continuing its commitment to sustainable mobility. Leading the lineup are the new Scenic E-Tech electric and Rafale full hybrid E-Tech, along with the Renault Espace E-Tech full hybrid and debuts from the Renault 4 and 5 E-Tech electric models.
Building on last year’s success, Renault is again deploying two autonomous all-electric shuttles in collaboration with WeRide. These smart vehicles will ferry spectators between Porte d’Auteuil and the tournament village, showcasing the future of urban mobility in real time.
La Lignée and Give Me 5: A Serve for Social Impact
Beyond the cars and courts, Renault continues to rally behind social equity through its “Give Me 5” programme, which opens doors to sport and inclusion for youth in underserved communities. In 2025, Ugo Humbert, currently France’s No. 2 ranked player, joins this initiative as well as Renault’s “La Lignée” ambassador programme.
He stands alongside fellow ambassadors Casper Ruud, Félix Auger-Aliassime, Diede de Groot, and Luca Van Assche. Together, they support the renovation and activation of local tennis courts—turning them into vibrant community hubs run by local organisations, with an enduring social impact.
Renault at Roland-Garros: Where Innovation Meets Iconic Moments
From futuristic concept vehicles and electrified fleets to a deep-rooted commitment to social progress, Renault’s partnership with Roland-Garros is a vivid reflection of the brand’s evolving identity. It is a blend of performance and purpose, heritage and modernity, all served up on the grand stage of one of the world’s most prestigious tennis tournaments.
Whether it’s the rugged charm of the Renault 4 Savane 4×4, the bold spirit of the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, or the refined elegance of the Roland-Garros edition Renault 5 E-Tech, Renault is proving that electrification can be just as emotive as it is innovative.
This is more than a partnership—it’s a powerful expression of motion, meaning and momentum. Game, set, Renault.
