Boulogne-Billancourt, July 30, 2025 — In a pivotal leadership transition, the Board of Directors of Renault Group has officially appointed François Provost as Chief Executive Officer of Renault S.A. and Chairman of Renault s.a.s., effective July 31, 2025. The appointment, made during a meeting chaired by Jean-Dominique Senard and following a recommendation from the Governance and Remuneration Committee, marks the beginning of a four-year mandate for the seasoned executive.

Provost also assumes the role of Director of both Renault S.A. and Renault s.a.s., underscoring the Board’s confidence in his capabilities to lead the company through its next strategic phase.

With over two decades of service within the Group, François Provost brings deep-rooted knowledge of the automotive sector, spanning both operational and strategic domains. Most recently serving as Chief Procurement, Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer, he has cultivated a broad international perspective and played a vital role in steering the Group’s key initiatives in an increasingly complex global mobility landscape.

His appointment signals Renault Group’s commitment to continuity and acceleration. Armed with a strong grasp of the sector’s challenges and opportunities, Provost is expected to leverage the Group’s strategic agility, global partnerships, and performance-driven culture to propel the business forward.
