Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has unveiled a major technology step forward for its Chinese-market flagship sedan. Announced on 21 November at the Guangzhou Motor Show, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFN) confirmed that the new Teana will launch with Huawei’s latest in-car system, HarmonySpace5.0, fitted as standard across the entire model range. Priced from 139,900 to 167,900 RMB, the refreshed Teana blends elevated design, advanced connectivity, and refined driving dynamics to compete at the top of its segment.

The new Teana embraces a sleek, elongated silhouette with a clean, modern aesthetic. Its standout styling feature is the distinctive “star ring” LED signature, stretching from the centre of the grille to the extremities of the headlights, giving the sedan a wide, confident visual stance.
Twin-projector LED headlights provide best-in-class illumination of up to 230 metres, dramatically improving nighttime visibility and safety. Two exclusive body colours—Sandstone Gray and Phantom Purple—add both luxury and flair, underscoring the Teana’s premium positioning.
Inside, comfort and tactility take priority. Approximately 90% of the cabin surfaces are wrapped in soft-touch materials, enhancing both perceived and actual quality. Customisable 256-colour ambient lighting introduces a refined, lounge-like atmosphere. A minimalist interior layout is anchored by a large central touchscreen and comprehensive voice-controlled functionality—an experience Nissan describes as a “mobile smart home.”
VC-Turbo Power: Efficiency Meets Performance
Under the bonnet, the Teana features Nissan’s celebrated 2.0-litre VC-Turbo engine, employing a variable compression ratio design that optimises power and efficiency in real time. The engine produces 243 PS and 371 Nm of torque, delivering strong acceleration and stable performance across varied driving conditions.
Complementing the powertrain is a suite of Level 2 driver-assistance technologies, offering leading active safety and semi-autonomous capabilities within its class.
