London, 15 July 2024 – Ferrari made an indelible mark at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, concluding with a breathtaking display of automotive brilliance. Showcasing 26 unique renditions of the iconic Cavallino, Ferrari captivated the audience as these masterpieces conquered the renowned Goodwood Hill. The event’s crescendo featured Oliver Bearman, Scuderia Ferrari HP Reserve Driver, who electrified the crowd with his exhilarating drive of the SF71H, a car originally piloted by Sebastian Vettel during the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Reflecting on the event, Bearman expressed his elation, stating, “It was truly a special weekend. My heartfelt thanks to Goodwood and the Ferrari family for this unique opportunity to drive the SF71H up the hill. The past few days have been incredibly fun and emotional, feeling the support from everyone who stopped for a picture and cheered for me. I hope they enjoyed watching me drive and do donuts as much as I did. I can’t wait to do it again!”
The festival also witnessed the UK dynamic debut of six exceptional Ferrari models, each epitomizing Italian design, performance, and cutting-edge technology. Among these, the Ferrari 296 Challenge, driven by Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe driver and reigning Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli UK Champion Andrew Morrow, took on the timed runs. Morrow’s skilled handling saw the 296 Challenge complete the 1.16-mile hillclimb in a striking 50.03 seconds, securing 7th place overall in the final timed run shoot-out.
Ferrari’s presence at Goodwood was further enriched by the Scuderia Ferrari HP team and an illustrious collection of Ferrari F1 cars, including the F2001 and the F2007, famously driven by Michael Schumacher and Kimi Räikkönen respectively. These legendary machines added to the excitement and storied legacy of Ferrari at the Festival.
