London, 27 October 2025 – Zenion, the UK’s leading provider of electric motorcycles for last-mile courier deliveries, is making significant strides in reshaping the gig economy and fleet delivery landscape. The company has already reached the halfway mark in its £1.4 million Series-A funding round, recently launched on the Prospedia Capital investment platform, highlighting investor confidence in its ambitious growth trajectory.
In a move that underscores its commitment to strategic leadership and innovation, Zenion has appointed two influential figures to its board. James Lee joins as a non-executive director, bringing an exceptional track record in scaling businesses. Lee, a founding partner of Infinium Partners, has been involved in 34 ventures across sectors including real estate, eMobility, PropTech, and Agri-tech, providing critical guidance to fast-growing companies. His experience as a chairman and advisor across multiple industries makes him an invaluable asset to Zenion’s strategic ambitions.
Adam Crombie, Zenion’s chief commercial officer since August 2024, has also joined the board as a director. Crombie adds further commercial and financial expertise, drawing on senior leadership roles at Getir, Weezy, Lidl UK, Sainsbury’s, and McDonald’s. His appointment strengthens Zenion’s ability to deliver robust commercial strategies and expand its footprint in a rapidly evolving market.
“These pivotal boardroom appointments, alongside our established track record of innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, position Zenion for remarkable growth,” said founder Richard Jordan, an experienced solicitor and entrepreneur.
Powering the Future of Last-Mile Delivery
Zenion specialises in renting 100% electric motorcycles to gig economy riders and fleet operators, primarily in London, Europe’s largest delivery hub. Its fleet currently exceeds 1,500 vehicles, with over 1,000 already operational, and plans are underway to increase this number to 2,000 by the end of 2025. This expansion is supported by a strategic partnership with Uber and VMoto, the manufacturer of Zenion’s motorcycles.
The fleet features the VMoto CPx, a reliable and efficient electric motorcycle equipped with dual batteries that provide a range of 130 km—ideal for intensive delivery operations. Zenion’s partnership with Uber BV also enables the company to accelerate fleet growth and enter new markets, with ambitions to expand into six European cities by 2029.

Customer-Focused and Sustainable
Zenion offers gig riders an all-inclusive package that covers the motorcycle, insurance, and maintenance for £75 per week, with no long-term commitments. Fleet clients benefit from flexible monthly rental options, which include full maintenance services.
Technology is at the heart of Zenion’s growth strategy. Customised rider and fleet apps, innovative battery swapping trials, and bespoke telematics systems—including theft recovery, mileage-based servicing, and remote immobilisation—enhance efficiency and operational reliability.
Financially, Zenion is experiencing rapid growth. With an annual recurring revenue of £3.6 million, projections indicate a potential increase to £26 million by the end of 2026, reflecting the company’s scalability and strong market demand.
“Zenion’s unwavering commitment to sustainability aligns with the zero-emissions goals of leading delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo,” said Jordan. “With the UK accounting for one-third of Europe’s delivery market and London being the most active, Zenion is uniquely positioned to lead the transition to electric vehicles in this sector.”
Opportunities for Investors
Having previously secured £700,000 in capital and £640,000 in cash investments, Zenion continues to seek funding opportunities to support its expansion. The Series-A round presents a compelling opportunity for angel investors, family offices, and venture capital funds to engage with a high-growth company committed to transforming the gig economy, reducing carbon emissions, and improving the quality of life for delivery riders.
“Zenion is committed to delivering excellence, one emission-free mile at a time,” affirmed Jordan. “We invite investors to join us on this journey to redefine sustainable last-mile delivery.”
