British performance car manufacturer, Ariel Motor Company, has selected Yokohama as the factory fit tyre partner for two of its vehicles – the Ariel Atom and the Ariel Nomad.
Effective immediately, the Atom, often described as the ultimate track day weapon and winner of multiple car awards, will be available to customers fitted with Yokohama’s high performance Advan Sport V105 tyre. From later in 2024, all Ariel Atoms will be fitted with Yokohama’s Advan Sport V105 as part of an exclusive one-make supply agreement.
Customers looking for the ultimate performance track day package are also able to spec up their Atom at point of order to Yokohama’s road legal track option A052 tyre.
Meanwhile, buyers of Ariel’s performance on/off roader, the Nomad, will be able to experience the versatility and rugged capabilities of Yokohama’s Geolandar range, with vehicles fitted with Yokohama’s A/T G015 and X-A/T G016 tyres.

Yokohama is no stranger to delivering high performance thrills both on the race track and on the road. Its tyres have helped deliver numerous motorsport championship and race wins around the world including the International Formula 3 Grand Prix in Macau since 1983, the European Touring Car Cup and the FIA World Touring Car Championship from 2006 – 2017. Its tyres are also fitted as original equipment to some of the world’s leading volume performance car manufacturers including BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche.
